i went to the goodwill store saturday. and looked at some of the prices. doesnt seem to me as if its any goodwill prices. most was mabe a dollar or so cheaper but some of the prices were more than normal retail. they are making a fortune off of peoples dropoffs and returns.

I agree. We find good DES every now and then but most of the time it's outrageous.

It seems like it's just things that are all used up and out of date. I had rather save my money a get something I will actually wear.

I went one time and found 2 identical picture frames one was priced more than the other so I questioned "why"... I was told it depends on who done the pricing and they wouldnt match the prices..
On Saturday I was in there and found a pair of Clark Wallabes originals..I am very aware these are expensive shoes but they shouldnt be that expensive at the Goodwill they were priced $39.99!!!! That is insanity...
I shop many different Goodwills and never have I seen one as pricey as Corinth!!

In TN, the Goodwill stores have 1/2 off everything, the 1st Saturday of the month. When I asked the employee at Goodwill why they don't do that in Corinth, I was told it's because they're not near a metropolitan area, and that the locations I mentioned were not in the same region as Corinth's Goodwill store. Even on a regular price day the TN stores are cheaper.

I go to the Goodwill from time to time. Sometimes you can find good deals, sometimes you can find deals elsewhere. It really depends, but I do agree the Goodwill in Jackson is more along the Goodwill price than the one here in Corinth, and the clerks are more helpful. I went to the Lighthouse Thrift Store as well. They had some good deals. I still find the best deals at the Salvation Army. ALL the kids clothes are $1 and hardly anything is over $5. They have a good selection of everything. Anyway, just check things out when you've got the time. That's the key to finding bargains.

the prices at the Goodwill in Corinth are ridiculous for the most part. Hard to tell what price sticker is theirs and what was the original stores sticker. Some employees nice, others rude, sometimes very rude. Selling items at Goodwill for suggested retail price is a joke. Was in there one day and they had a print out from ebay showing the price someone was asking for an item. NOT a list of similar items sold and the sold prices. Do the people managing that store think the public is stupid. Apparently so
