temps do all the hard wrk

United States

I worked there as a temp years ago. They promise you a job after so long. I worked and never missed a day they ended up hiring some guy who was late ever day and was lazy and had not been there half as long as me... I was told he was hired because they had to met a qouta on hiring blacks.

The plant manager at the time was a POS and his brother was lazy as hell to.. The people I worked with were full time cat guys and lazy also.. They worked over everday because they would stop and shoot the bs for a hour most of the time 2 hours a day. Just so they could get some OT......

So I worked like a slave when the full time cat guys sat on there hands making 23.00 and hour with lots of bennies.
I was paid about 8.00 a hour with no insurance or crap no rasies either..
I worked for HR...

I'm telling you. Get a good lawyer like that Hardin lady did. It took a few years but she won her suit. She stood up when a lot of people wouldn't and got fired for it. But when it was all said and done she won and for a long while things were much better!

I have never heard so many cry babies in my life. Just be proud you have a job. Cat may not be the best job or the best place to work, but these days, just thank the Lord you can pay your bills by working there. As I understand it, the ones that they fired have worked there for a long time and they thought they thought they were unreachable. If you work hard and prove yourself and actually act like you have a little sense you can keep your job anywhere.

Concerned, I fully agree with you, that is, that's the way it SHOULD be but take my word for it. I know of people that have been fired by Roberto and his henchmen and was not even in the area where the incident happen. I know of people were fired for " not reporting an accident" ... Sound legit to you? How bout the fact he didn't actually see the incident. He was on break when the incident occurred in his area. I WISH it was as easy as you say "Concerned" BUT the truth is, Roberto is nothing more than a "Dictator" and his rule WILL NOT be question...and he will fire all who oppose his rule. That's the Truth

i left on my own because I went to work for myself, but I know two guys that got fired a year or so ago and they were lazy and cocky and menaces and deserved what they got. They act like that they'll never keep a job.

The team lead I know that got fired cried about it and bitched about it, but fact of the matter was then and probably is now he was kissing too much ass and not doing his job. Been there years and it's a wonder they kept him as long as they did. Caught up to him and that's that. Thought everyone was his friend but most of us were glad to see him go. Good Riddens we knew it would happen. Poor G
