In a lose to the number one team in the country the top story was a 185 pound linebacker way undersized being awarded defensive player of the week and there were two rebels who could have won that award cody prewitt played his heart espn and news sources across the country talking more about ole miss than the tide and you are a liar saban never said anything about the other teams of how physical they played its a real positive feeling knowing we were a good quaterback away from beating them bo wallace lost that game
You obviously don't watch his press conference weekly, do you? And, when did I say that going to UT makes me smart??

Secondly, don't call me a liar. He specifically blew up on a question asked to him from the media talking down on the teams like WKU and FAU, right before they played them. He said those teams are very capable and tough teams. Sound familiar?? You are a little S h it aren't you? You called me a liar, and essentially called me pretentious. So, who the hell are you to call me a liar, when all I'm doing is providing you with information that is 100% accurate. You are just a little Hotty Toddy homer. If you want to have a rational discusion, stop trying to out whit me. Lord knows that's not possible

Ole miss didnt have a player win a weekly award since 2009 they have had four this year we were the worst penalized team last year in the sec this year we are the least penalized team at 3.6 per game fourth in the nation our defense is top 30 our offense top 20 compared to last year 114 and 103. Ole miss has improved in all areas except turnovers get that turned around i see a winning season

So, Gopher, where and when did you used to coach? I'm not doubting you, but I actually follow some local small colleges in Tennessee, and even Mississippi and Arkansas. I'm assuming it was at the Division II level.??

hahaha, go to the third page of this discussion Gopher, and read from there. You will see all the unfulfilled promised you've been making on the Rebel's behalf. O believe that's the week of the Texas game. Those statements say a lot. Big 12 teams don't have depth. UH, Texas has plenty of depth. Not because of their conference, but because of who they are

I was a graduate assistant under Coach Sloan and Coach Brewer at ole miss Sloan was a bama graduate had a lot of stories about the Bear i also was an assisant coach at Northeast community college before i became a sports agent and was hired by the Billy Schulls agency in memphis lived there nine years till i made enough to settle on this little farm ever hear of a mississippi state player by the name of Pig Prather from Faulkner High school or Qyntell Woods they were my two biggest and also Tommie Harris many more north ms boys i convinced Qyntel to forego Memphis and go pro when i seen it ruined his career i quit i let money cloud my judgement so there you have it

Very interesting, if true. Not that I doubt you, but this is a website anyone can get on. I was curious because I'm thinking of getting into coaching myself. I know who S. Sloan is, and I knew he was Bear Boy. I also know that in that period of football, it was real popular to hire former Bama players because they played for the Bear. Hence, Bill Battle. Brewer, well I have mixed feelings about him. Not the ran the Rebels into the ground, but he should have pushed for more black athletes, especially in the 1980s. That was when you really started to see the Jerry Rice's and Walter Payton's of the world go to SEC schools, as opposed to a SWAC school.
Either way, that's good. My friend, she used to baby sit Sexton's kids back in high school. Tebow even looked at buying their house in 2010 in Memphis, after he signed with Sexton. However, my question is, why didn't you stay in coaching. I know it's hard to rise up, but if it's your passion, should have seen it though. I actually still have an outside eye for coaching one day. I know how to coach, am a good offensive mind. But, my resources are dripping, having been away from high school ball for over four years. My weak point would be recruiting, but I have a hell of a pro/flex offense I've been developing since high school. Blocking schemes and even audibles. How do you get started, and please don't say being a bitch ball boy??

Hahah, not trying to start shit. But, you were a tad over optomistic about the outcome, and said Texas had no depth. Man, it's hard to find many teams in the SEC even, with that depth

I misjudged Texas but also ole miss didnt play like they did against bama maybe after A&M we can turn it around and i enjoy debating its fine as long as folks will admit ole miss is better coached and a more discplined team than last year.

Yea, I've been hearing the starting job is open.... Goes back to another point where you called Bo Wallace Tebow/Newton combo. hahah, I'll let that one slide. Yea, my high school played MUS when I was in Memphis. He wasn't starting when I was there. I'm a bit older. But, I'm not a Bama fan, God knows. Rocky Top all the way!!
