I understand your situation. No one should judge you. Only you yourself knows your body and pain. I wish you the best of luck and for others out there who seem to think they have advice, I do know of some very good chronic pain doctors who will prescibe pain meds.

Who are the doctors that will prescribe meds and not look at you as a "druggie". Every doctor I've been to acts like your not hurting even when I have all the paperwork and MRI showing that I have 3 bulging disc, 1 herniated disc, and degenerative disc disease. I've took injections on numerous occasions and they do not help and I've told the doctors that and they still won't give anything for pain, so it would be helpful to me if I had some different names of doctors to try. If you give me some names it would be appreciated.

Spend as much time finding something constructive to do like a job rather than a pill and you might get a sense of accomplishment in your life that doesn't require "pain management". Or complain about your ailments and need for the crutch if a pill. Live with addiction by becoming a slave to it. Enjoy life, you only get one maybe these clinics and doctors can feed you all the relief you crave.

What a bunch of judgmental self-rightgous people here! If you have sufficient documentation, get your medical records from your old doc and you shouldn't have a problem finding a reputable doc to help you. A friend of mine sees Dr. McKinney and he has always takin good care of her.

Lol mcduffy got shut down for writing out so many pills and the other doc in is a good hearted person I will not post her name for people to slander her.but yeah plus snyone who is on these pills need to get clean the government is locking down on narcotics I was told by a hospital doctor tha the if you go in to the hospital more than 3 times in 1 month you will be turn in and labled a drug head dont beleive me go to corinth hospital and ask one of the docs on call

ummm i dunno what ur talking about but morphine was used in WWI....and probably early. pain medication has been around for a very very long time. so unless u were around before WWI then you are a effing liar. I am 26 and need a hip replacement already...have u ever needed a hip replacement? I can't even sleep more than 3 hours if i don't have something for pain..i do not abuse my medication at all. i take it as a DOCTOR prescribes. so unless u wanna try and say u are smarter than my doctor just STFU and go elsewhere.

I'm a war vet . Blown up but kelp my limbs. The VA takes care of my med. The number of 90 isn't a lot if you have chronic pain. Over time you get less results from the medicine . 1 every 6 hours isn't a lot . Chronic pain is something that has to be treated every 4 to 6 hours, unless you know what it feels like to have it you should not assume you under stand. Pain is different for everyone . Some need less and some need more. Please stop saying people that take meds to be able to carry out daily activities are drug addicts . The pain meds make it only bearable to carry on with life. It's people taking them to get high that is the pill poppers. If your in real bad pain it takes the high out because it works on the pain .?120 isn't uncommon for real sick people. It also helps you to feel good enough to maintain the common daily activates. So many people need it cause the surgery isn't helping. Don't bash sick people. Why make them for real sick people and not use it. If you were hurt as bad as some you would not talk like it's wrong. Be caring for our vets returning home instead of calling them drug addicts. And non vet people have chronic pain all so. Don't be so quick to judge till you have walked in painful shoes of really sick people.

You people are so full of it. Some people do need pain meds. I am also a nurse and 90 Pain pills and 90 xanax are the commonly prescribed doses for people who need them. As for Tammy in Burnsville 90% of people that use her go to her to get pain pills. I know several that get them from her just to sell. It is pathetic. She needs to be stopped from being able to prscribe anything. She knows some of these people sell their drugs and she will write them more than the normal amount. I know because a couple of these people who get them to sell are related to me and they disgust me for what they do.

i know for a fact that when she was told that a pt of hers was selling she told the pt she couldnt see her anymore and didnt. If she finds out you are she stops writing them and she does drug tests on everyone. Tami is a good person. She really feels for her pts!

I live in Minnesota, the Twin Cities Metro Area. I have an uncommon form of Rheumatoid Arthritis (resistant to normal treatments). As well, had a work injury which damaged my neck, arm and back a few years ago. There are times when I am unable to walk... and times I wake up in the middle of the night screaming due to joint pain. If anyone knows of a doctor that is not afraid to prescribe pain meds, I would greatly appreciate it. Please... and Thank you.

You? I can see that, and the others who think prescription drugs are ALL BAD-- u people are idiots. I know people who get way more than just 90 lortabs a month! That's 3 a day and from personal experience, sometimes 3 a day doesn't help the pain! U all want us to LIVE in the hospital? AWESOME idea.
