Larry Dorsey, CHS 1971 played professional football for nearly five seasons.
Do you know if any of Mr. Blasingames' family is still around corinth or nearby? My sister has to do her research paper on him and interview a member of his family.

Chris Kelley from kossuth. He broke records in every sport he played in highschool (basketball, football, baseball, and track) then played football for Memphis before bein drafted to the CFL. Hands down the best athelete from the county. He wasn't good at just one or two sports. He broke records in EVERYTHING.

How could anyone say any other name except for Bryan Brown?

Finished third all time IN THE STATE with yards from scrimmage in football. Lead the first and only football team from this county to the State title game.

Helped the basketball team to 2 state championships and named all state. Set tons of records including most dunks & 3's in a season. He could do it all. Even played both sports at Ole Miss. Was in the state high school dunk contest and he was only 5'8". Once he did a 360 ally-oop against biggersville @ biggersville's gym and half their student section got up and walked out of the gym!

Played for state titles in bball & fball and was named all-state in both during his senior season. Unbelievable. Sadly he lacked height. It he were 6'2" instead of 5'8" you might be watching him on Sundays.

In Alcorn Co. he's easily the best.

Let's see. None of you have mentioned chris Kelly. This guy I played football with and was a all round athlete. He played football and basketball. Then he left here and played at Memphis then on to the Canadian football league. Then we got Brian Kelly , Corey Clark , brad bonds , Jesse potts , Kurt reader. All these guys were great on the field. I had the pleasure of playing on the gridiron with all of them. Thanks guys for the memories.

I can't believe you left out Curtis Henry. That boy could run!

He played at Ole Miss and then transfered to a DII school in the early 90's. Don't know where he is today though.
