<quoted text>This day and age, horses are a dime a dozen. There are horses everywhere that are for sale cheap and good ones at that. There are some questions that need to be answered: Why would anyone risk felony charges to steal a horse with this economic climate? Was the horse special in any way (show horse, abilities, notoriety)? For this horse to be stolen, someone had to know the horse and the owners, therefore the thief is close to the owners. Are the owners close with known convicted criminals that would do this or people that have drug problems? The horse isn't seen in the area. Was the horse really stolen? Was there insurance on the horse? Did the horse have a medical history or was it permanently identified with microchip, brand, microchip, or DNA? In this day of horses being a liability due to the expense of upkeep and their intrinsic worth, I am somewhat skeptical of it being stolen. If one were to steal a horse, it sure wouldn't be a walking horse.
for your info he was stolen and yes I do have his DNA record maybe you hang around drug heads and Thieves I don't thanks

Someone needs to ask questions and look at all sides without the "poor pity me sympathy card" played. This is Corinth and it has been well known in the history of horse owners in this area to falsify a loss or death to cover for mistreatment of an animal or to gain insurance payment. Anyone that owns a horse here knows this is true. The rednecks in Corinth and majority of horse owners in this area fall in that category. I still question why anyone would steal a horse when there are so many out there that can be cheaply obtained. I take all of the crybaby whining about the loss taken to the news outlets with a grain of salt. This is Corinth. Maybe someone needs to look into the personal life of those that claim to have lost the horse.

LOOK THAT'S THE QUISTION WE WANT TO KNOW WHY WOULD THEY TAKE tHE HORSE????? All they did was report the horse to corinth police department! They didn't ask for it to be put in the daily corinthian twice or have channle 3 news. Come out or channle 5 news come out! They asked my parents if it was ok and they said yes bc why not if it will help bring him back then why not! And as far as being a cry baby it was their 7 and 11 year old daughters horse they are very upest! I have two kids of my own and would do they same! And for u to say maybe the should look into the owners really they have two great jobs and works hard and my sisters are stright A students! They don't do drugs never been in trouble like I said all they did was report him missing everyone elsa asked to speck to them! And I don't think they would be offering a reward out of their own pockets if someone can help! So why don't u keep wondering why! Bc that's what we are doing

Yes your right skeptical this is Corinth And with that being said corinth is a wonderful city. And as for your theroy that our city is known to falsify or mislead a stolen horse or any family pet... Let me just add that our local police department and the department of agriculture are thoroughly investigating this case. We have absolutely nothing to hide. You obviously don't know our family otherwise you wouldn't be so negative and so quick to judge. You would also know that my two children are the ones who cry real tears because someone took THEIR horse. So continue to use topix to vent all of your negativity if that is what makes you feel better. I will not be responding to your negative character remarks again. I refuse to waste my energy on someone like you. My main concern is to find the person or persons involved in the theft of our horse and using topix to retrieve any helpful leads. God bless you skeptical and may you find a since of peace with all that you have announced.

I am part of this family. And I know them real well. They are very sweet people would do anything for anyone. They are not doing this for attion or trying to get money out of it because they have money...and for the guy posting under Brian name isn't him. And as far as Shannon I would had taking that last post the same way. She is happly married and a very sweet girl. Its not about the horse anymore they just want whomever took the horse to be caught because this could of happend to anyone even your childs animals. There is no sense in downing this family. And may I add none of them do drugs have never done drugs... who ever took the horse I am going to say this wasn't the first time and want be the last. That's why they want him caught and that's not to much to ask for. If he or she want to steal a horse then what elsa would they take???? Think about it. And it wasn't just the horse that was taking the stole a lot of items in their barn also. But I just wanted to comment because they don't deserve any one being negitive towards them they haven't done anything wrong. They just want the caught rather they get the horse back or not. I will be praying for all the ones on here being negative and pray for whomever the guy is posting under Brians name. God bless...

I cant stand a thief. I feel so sorry for you and your family. And I do agree it was probably someone who knew yalls place and knew the horse. I dont have much experience dealing with horses but I would think it would not be an easy task to load a horse up in a trailer and would be pretty noisy also. But I have no clue because I have never tried to load one. I will pray for your family and pray the horse is ok also. Do you have any info or certain things you could let us know to look out for the horse such as markings or a name? Do you think it is still in this area? Do you have any description if truck/trailer or a description of person of interest? Just trying to help you out is all. Do you have an email address so I could email you and let me see a pic. Horses are very beautiful animals and need to be taken care of in many different ways only the owner would know about.
thanks again for your concern my we'd site is ( downsbrian1974@aol. Com I give you all info and pic if u just put the word out ) god bless you
