The only comfort any can give you, is that whomever stole him, prob knew someone, that wanted to buy him within a hundred miles or so.
Just know that whoever buys him, don't know he is stolen, and payed alot for him, so atleast he will be well taken care of, unlike when someone kidnaps a kid and does bad things. Other then that you might take a ride around different towns, putting up flyers about him.
Of putting it in different papers from pontitoc to cherrokee al. Good luck and God bless.

So we are still praying for his return! I understand its just a horse but he was family to them! I just had my 1st horse to die lastweek I had him since I was 10 and I am 28 now! He was 40years old! And he was family to me and it hurt me! I pray if we don't find him that some1 is taking good care of him!

That's the only good news, is someone is probably taking good care of him.
Mabey whoever just bought him will come forward? They may not know it, or may not want to come forward, becouse they think they will loose their money or other reasons?

Never though, he may be home before christmas.
Animals can be easy to get attached to.
TN walkinh horses are sought after, but it still amazing someone would steal him?

I think someone knows the area well.

I cant stand a thief. I feel so sorry for you and your family. And I do agree it was probably someone who knew yalls place and knew the horse. I dont have much experience dealing with horses but I would think it would not be an easy task to load a horse up in a trailer and would be pretty noisy also. But I have no clue because I have never tried to load one. I will pray for your family and pray the horse is ok also. Do you have any info or certain things you could let us know to look out for the horse such as markings or a name? Do you think it is still in this area? Do you have any description if truck/trailer or a description of person of interest? Just trying to help you out is all. Do you have an email address so I could email you and let me see a pic. Horses are very beautiful animals and need to be taken care of in many different ways only the owner would know about.

Thank u so much! He is a black tenn walker! As a little white in between his eyes! And very long black tail unless they cute it off! But he does have a brown tooth on the top of his teeth! They took the horse behind the house and walked him down the railroad tracks and loaded him! They tried to get their other horse as well but he is not easy to load and the railroad workers called my parents to let them know their horse was out and that's when my stepdad went to go get the other horse and found where they droped his blanket and rains on the railroad track! There was a silver dodge truck with a silver trailer spoted in the area around the time! If u go to channal 3 news and channal 5news website they have pictures of them and also where they did a interveiw with my mom and stepdad and stepsister they are only 7 and 11years old and they are very upset about it! They don't understand why someone would want to take their horse! They are just kids! I believe its under on the website "tenn walker house stolen from a family! We need him home for my sisters!

This day and age, horses are a dime a dozen. There are horses everywhere that are for sale cheap and good ones at that. There are some questions that need to be answered: Why would anyone risk felony charges to steal a horse with this economic climate? Was the horse special in any way (show horse, abilities, notoriety)? For this horse to be stolen, someone had to know the horse and the owners, therefore the thief is close to the owners. Are the owners close with known convicted criminals that would do this or people that have drug problems? The horse isn't seen in the area. Was the horse really stolen? Was there insurance on the horse? Did the horse have a medical history or was it permanently identified with microchip, brand, microchip, or DNA? In this day of horses being a liability due to the expense of upkeep and their intrinsic worth, I am somewhat skeptical of it being stolen. If one were to steal a horse, it sure wouldn't be a walking horse.

We already think it had to be some1 who knew where the horses were! They must had already been around their house bc where they took the horses out of the fence in the back of the pasture know1 but my mom and stepdad knew there was a fence to get out of the back! There is a railroad track that runs in behind the pasture and that's where they walked the horse down to load him and their other horse got away bc he is not easy to load! As far as being a special he was a very beautiful tenn walker! He rode very well! And yes my parents went to a certain place to ride them every weekend! So it may have been someone that had been watching them for awhile! No they don't know anyone that would take him for drugs! That's why they don't understand why someone would take him! And yes they know for sure he was stolen bc they also took his sadle! And when my stepdad went to go catch the other horse that got away at 1 in the morning bc one of the railroad workers seen that the horse was out! He noticed that they had droped his blanket and rains on the railroad witch was also in the barn with the sadle!
Well

I think skeptical you are a bit off... They offered
A reward! Why offer a reward if it's not true? I myself would also make this big of a deal over a family pet horse, dog it don't matter. Another thing why stick up for a theif if they wanted it bad enough why not ask to ride sometimes or offer money which I doubt they wouldhave sold it but seriously if u want something from me ask for it if you want it bad enough to steal it u may need it more than me an I don't care if I have a pile of junk I the front yard don't steal what is mine.

Thank u I agree with 100 percent!!! So ppl really care for their animals! And get very close to them! Like my family was to the horse! And yeah I don't think they would be giving someone a reward for just no reason! So thank u once again!
