Amen ! And just think how RICH this town will be off the 20 cents or so tax we get off of it! Shoot far !!!! All that money we gonna get will be worth a few hundred alcohol related deaths, hundreds of broken homes, etc..... whoo hoo !!! Can't wait to get rich of all that tax money !!!!
Speculate much? Do some actual research. I have and the potential economic impact is staggering. I also read a half a dozen studies that document no real change in crime or DUI deaths. In fact several showed significant decreases due to heightened enforcement of laws already in place. Don't be blind to the facts. Alcohol is already here and abused. That's likely never going to change. You can't fix stupid. Vote yes and help our city. Vote no and watch it die. That death will impact A LOT of people too. A LOT.

I love me sum stats to. I don 't think like that other guy, I realy don 't care where people die. I just wish they could be able to track, if a bottle of liquer is bought in corinth, and it causes a death anywhere, even if it 's in Florida, I would still like to know, even if it onlt causes 1 death in the next 50 years, I still wish I knew, becouse that means my YES vote, help play a part in their death.

I just want to be part of someone elses death and nothing anybody can do about it.

I 'm sure the first time someone is killed around here, them dumb ole christians will make sure we find out.

Like I said, if it will help us grow, then here we go.

Please yall vote YES YES YES

you soft hearted people, just don 't be watching the news, after we get liquer.

That way when some kid dies, in a liquer related accident, you can still sleep well.

Vote yes!!! Bottoms up people :)

Carl, you arr stupis, only people who drink the liquer or serve the liquer are "legaly " responsible for any liquer related death, so your right, they cannot go all the way back to us who vote yes.

All who vote yes will be held guilty in the eyes of God, for any death or any problem related to liquer bought here, but if you have not noticed, nobody cares about god, and don 't realy want to hear about the negative sides of this matter.

Only god will know who votes yes, or no.

So shut up and let thr people have what they want, although the town has grown so much in last ten years, we can 't even support what we have now.

By your assumption we should ban prescription drugs, and cars too. Hmmm...maybe even fried foods - they all kill people every day. I agree with the earlier statement. You can't fix stupid and alcohol is already here, just someone else is profiting from it. If your vote will weigh that heavily on your conscience and you'll sleep better, just don't bother to vote. Cheers!

Vote YES YES YES.
I realy hope a few little kids get ground up like hamburger meat in a wreck, after we vote yes, and legal liquer plays a part in it.

I can 't wait. Mabey a minivan full of kids.

If it bothers you vote no, or be a real man -don 't give a shit and vote yes!

Plus I just love liquer stores and all the classy people who hang out in front of them. Bottoms up!

Oh yes , Mr. Research..... I'm so stupid. I've never done any research. Duh, I've only lived here for 47 years and worked in the ER for almost 30 of those. I've never seen anything that would convince me how bad alcohol related deaths can be and I can only imagine all that money that's gonna just roll in from it. But thats great, it will make the deaths, divorce, abuse, etc..... all seem worth it.

Well, let's talk about research. It's interesting that you mention that you work in the ER. If so, you probably see way more cases of heart attacks and stroke come into your ER than vehicular accidents caused by alcohol. I find it ironic that my cardiologist suggests I drink red wine because one or two glasses of red wine a day can help protect your heart and prevent the progression of cardiovascular disease, yet I have to drive to another county or across the state line to buy it or do without. Cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and stroke, is the leading cause of death in Mississippi, accounting for over a third of all deaths in the state. Mississippi's cardiovascular disease rates rank among the highest in the nation. Something tells me if we drilled it down even further to the dry counties vs. the wet, we'd see another disturbing trend. It is widely known that alcohol's anti-clotting effect potentially could reduce the chance of a heart attack and stroke. Don't get me wrong, obesity plays a huge role in these horrible stats but not in my case. I am fit, active mother of 3 and weigh 130 pounds. I eat right and maintain, maintain a healthy lifestyle and my cholesterol is well within the normal range. None of that stopped me from having a stroke. Will you feel bad when my kids are sobbing in your ER because it's happened again? Next time I might not be so lucky.

No Mr research you are wrong again. Alcohol abuse is one of the leading factors in obesity and other diseases. Maybe you should do some actual research instead is staying on google.

Better yet, come out to the ERs and watch what alcohol consumption actually does to people instead of reading about it on the internet. Watch their families as they sit and grieve or watch them punch us in the face or try to choke us when we go out and inform them of their loved ones untimely death due to alcohol.

Bury me ???? I don't think so.

And ms wine saves lives, wonder how ur stroke level will be when one or all of your 3 children are killed in an alcohol related accident ?? And you can spend the rest of your life knowing you are responsible for it. That should make you all feel lots better.

But hey, go ahead ... vote it in. I need job security.

Putting your money into other towns......That goes for everyone else bashing liquor!!! Guaranteed y'all will eat out at new food joints, or take a raise given from the taxes.

What 's wrong with you -we are on the same team bro.

I will vote yes, becouse I truly want to be part of someones death, if you want to vote yes just to save yourself 20 mins of drive time, then so be it. You and wino mama can ride together, just don 't let her drive, bevouse her left arm might get all numb and stuff.

I have done my research, and the odds are waaay in my favor, for someone dying, either by beating to death or car wreck. I don 't care which one. The only thing, is with car wrecks just mabey there will be a whole bunch of kids involved. To each his own.

I can 't believe they ever voted it out? Just goes to show you how people are, they are not like you and me, we want stuff here.

It 's just that I have seen what it does to a truck load of kids, and I just want the satisfaction of knowing my yes vote, was part of it!!!! Q
Don 't judge me -I bet you will be the fitst one on the scene, well except for ambulance boy, but don 'y listen to him, what does he know? You will be there watching them pick up the parts, and scrap up the brains, then we can start a topix.

Vote yes yes yes!!!
be a part of it

Have you ever seen a six month old bounce across a highway, like a ball??? Lol

My daddy delivered moonshine for "runnin' money" back in the mid 1950's. Wasn't legal then but didn't stop people from placing an order. Rich folks and poor alike. Corinth might as well get some tax revenue from sales.
