This is why I don't take my family to church cause there is so many fake Christians that go to all the churches here in corinth - alcorn county all I know is God is watching what your doing and u will answer to him for what your doing. I'm gonna pray for all you fake Christians

I am not perfect and I make my share of mistakes, but I am trying my best to live what I believe. Please dont lump me, and countless other believers, in with the hypocrites. The Bible say a man sowed a wheat field, and in the night an enemy sowed some tares(weeds)in with the wheat. The land owner said to let the wheat & tares grow up together & they would be seperated on harvest day, then the tares would be burned. Churches are full of people, like any other place there are good & bad. This is why the Bible also says not just yourselves amoung yourselves - I must live up to God's standards and not use others bad behavior as an excuse to act badly or give up on my God.
My uncle is a pastor, and his answer to going to church with hypocrites: "you can go to church with them, or go to hell with them. your choice."

If you know how this man is, I'm sure just about everybody he is around knows it too. I hate to say this but my so called husband is the same way. At home he is so different than what he portrays to everybody when we are seen together especially at church. He try's to make everybody think he is such a Christian man and actually treats me horrible. I live my life for God and know one day we all will be judged.

Maybe instead of wasting your time on here you should be out trying to find a way to make money to pay for what that child needed instead of expecting someone to just hand it over to you. This man does good things for people. He cannot help everyone and should not be expected to. So get off your freeloading but and get a job

Taking your family to church should have no bearing on who's fake and who isn't. The big picture is God. If you're looking around the building at the other people, you're like Peter when he took his eyes off JESUS. Your salvation doesn't have a thing to do with anyone else. It's between you and the LORD.

Very good comparison, my pastor always says ppl use the hypocrite as their excuse to not go to church but it dont bother them to go to walmart or McDonald's with them. There's always gonna be hypocrites, but the day you stand before God that excuse wont work. If the preacher is standing on the word God will take care of the hypocrite in his time. Now if the preacher is the hypocrite it's time to find a new church!

You call your self facts but you do not tell any. Your understanding of the scriptutes is limited; yet you expect others to be limited by your lack of understanding. You will not be able to send any to hell by your judgements, though you appear as if you would like to. Fact is you can not go to church, it is the saved. That is the church; and God added to the church such as should be saved. You can go to worship! Bet you can not define that either.

If you are saved you are part of the church. If you and two or so members go together to worship; you would say the church is going to worship. The church is the people not some building or service some place. I will not try to explain how to Get God to add you to the church. You already have your mind made up about how to do that. Why don't you tell me.

Anyone who has ever been saved was saved by grace through faith.
I'm not sure why many believe that good works keeps one saved.

It is something that has been going on since the begining.

I believe paul addressed the Galations in chapter 3 on this matter. Where it talks about falling from grace, it is speaking of the lost man, trying to be good enough.

I do understand why one feels this way "at first " or "for a while ", but the longer I am a christian, the more I realize, that if the blood of Jesus Christ is not enough to get me to Heaven, then I do not have a chance.

The Bible teaches us not to judge according to our own self righteousness but by using the word of God. You have to judge if you assemble as God's people because there are certain qualifications he requires for certain positions. The problem most have is they look at a sin someone commits that they don't and judge them although the whole time that person is in a more wicked sin than the one they're looking down on. If i committed adultery with a woman id be scum of the earth in their eyes but at the same time a sexy woman walks by and the good church fellows make lil comments,,, bible says if a man even looks at a woman in a lustful way he's already committed adultery.

True.
Not to mention how many men struggle with porn.
A man that was married, and his wife left him, for another man 20 years ago, can get saved and be a new creature in Christ, and marry a good christian woman, but many will be sure and let him know he can't be a pastor or a deacon, but you can take another guy, that has been a playboy, and slept with every woman within a 1000 miles, but never married any, if he gets saved, there are many that want to put him in behind a pulpit.:)

Yeah, I just do not know why people want to go by the bible like that. When they are in a sin they have no intention of quiting just how do you suppose they are going to get forgiveness?
