Napper spent millions for new emergency-room and guess what you will still set and wait for hours while Doctors and Nurses play with each other. Was there Fri. night set for over 2 hrs left and went to a real hospital N.M.M.C. and seen a Doctor and was on my way home in less than 1 hr. after getting there. Another Napper waste of money how much longer can we afford him?

After 9 pm my daughter was hysterical with ear pain. No clinics or docs available in Corinth after 9, so as a parent you do all you know to do. Trust the emergency room for help. We waited 4 hours and then got one ear drop. That's right. One drop. And a bill for $1,200.00.. They claimed we got the entire bottle. We did not. He put it in his pocket and sent us home. I realize other things are considered emergency, but why don't we have a nurse practioner on duty at least Until midnight to treat children who never get sick Til the lights go out. This hospital could serve the Comunity better!!

I've watched people come in with burns so bad their skin was peeling off. The triage nurse told them they would have at least a 3 hour wait. She walked up to the desk in back and told the doctor that there was a man with 3rd degree burns on his arm and face. The doctor said he was hungry and the man would have to wait till he got back. I went in with chest pains one night only to be told to go sit and wait. I went to Iuka instead. They took me straight back.

1,200$ for some ear drops!? I believe it. I went in one night having pains like I was having a baby ( yes i'm a woman) and they told me to pee in a cup. Waited 4 hours for them to come push around on my stomach go bk out of the room and come bk to tell me I had a bladder infection. The next day I go to my regular dr cause I was still having the pain and come to find out it was a kidney stone.. I'm waiting on the bill for that.

Mu friend went twice last weekend with severe abdominal pain. After waiting 3-4 hours each visit, they sent her home and told her nothing was wrong. I was so upset because it was obvious somerhing WAS wrong. After being in extreme pain and taking all she could handle, she went to Tupelo ER and they found out she had gall stones. Tupelo admitted her because they were so bad, she requires surgery! I would have thought that after two trips to MRHC ER, they would have figured out that this girl was sick! Thank goodness we are close enough to a hospital that actually cares enough to find out what's wrong with us!

I went there with my husband and we waited over 8 hrs. one time. There was a pregnant girl there that had been there longer than us. That's been a few years ago. I hope it has improved a little since. I really don't have any problem with the hospital but the ER is ridiculous. And yes, I've seen them back there talking and laughing while patients in pain were waiting.

I say if you were told to sit and wait it was after the nurse saw you.

I believe it. It took them over an hour to be seen. I'm telling you they are deadly.

I went in a few years ago in horrific pain. I waited hours in the emergency room screaming. They took me back only to say I had a yeast infection! A yeast infection does not feel like your insides are coming apart. Few days later I passed 2 kidney stones at home! There are some doctors who care but others could give a crap less! I had insurance and yet they still charged me 3000 bucks! It's ridiculous!

Several years ago I was tasked with guarding a bridge. I was told that under no circumstances was I to let anyone go over the bridge because it was damaged and needed repairing. One day a man approached me and told me has was going to cross the bridge no matter what! He pulled out his sword and we had a very lengthy fight. A few hours later I was brought in to the ER at Magnolia by a good friend of mine because the man I fought cut off both of my arms and legs. I had to wait 14 hours before I saw the doctor! When I finally went back to a room the doctor walked in and took one look at me and said "It's just a flesh wound!" I will never go back there again!!!

I had to go one night because i had an extremely bad migraine. I was crying with pain and that just made it worse. It honestly felt like i was being beaten in the head with a hammer. They made me sit for hours. I went up to them holding my head, crying, begging them to please just give me some migraine medicine. They still made me wait. I finally passed out from the pain and they took me back. After i got back there i still waited another hour n half. They gave me some new migraine med and it stopped instantly. On my way out i noticed they had nobody in the rooms but the waiting room was still full. I will never go back to that hospital again. They could care less about anybody that comes in for help. Its ridiculous!!

Looking on the intervenet, I came across a site that has rated the hospitals. Things like surgery, cardo, gastro, lung, etc illness and how hospitals rated in care and survival rate. Stars 0 to 5. One or 0 being the worst, 5 being the best. Magnolia had mostly one star and death rate was extremely high. Look for yourself. It will terrify you as it did me. Death for the simplest of things!! Or major complications for the rest of your life. Good people do work at our hospital, but prodical to help people survive is not priority. Changes have to be made? If you work there, I know you dont want to loose a family member,Do push, push, to have teams or programs (mot just s phone call) that follow up on all patients (in and out of hospital) and help get this hospital out of the zero to one, and into the five star +++.

Post link to site or I'm calling bullsh*t on this one. I'd like to see sources for these "statistics" as well.
