What's sad is you think Logan's or Red Lobster are good places to eat. Oh and btw, neither of those establishments will ever open their doors within the city limits of Corinth. Liquor or no liquor.

Nope. We're too small. And it's funny how much talk there is about obesity and fat people around here but one of their big lies was getting more restaurants in here

I read in the newspaper one day....It said something to the fact that the towns they go to has to have a certain amount of population, certain amount of traffic that flows in front of the establishment, and a few other things. I really think a steak and seafood would go over well. I know most chicken places don't serve liquor, but corinth has been long over do for a new chicken place also. It seems that there is alot of traffic flow on the corner by brose auto plex, maybe they will put something in the new building across from there.

Money talk and population don't. If investors have the money then they will BRING it regardless.

Corinth dosen't have the population as well. If we did get one of those named it wouldn't be long before they closed their doors, because all you children hollering I want I want, when the new wears off you would start looking for something else to want.

The fact that you are excited about getting a new chain restaurant saddens me.

But the key is pulling people from Selmer, Savannah, Ripley, Walnut, Guys, Bolivar, Booneville, it's not about Corinth population it's about the folks who will drive to town on a Friday night or after a ball game to eat a nice meal! I mean how many times can you eat at Russels before you get burnt out? Obviously a lot! Lol

Uh...... This is a stupid question I'm sure but why would Cracker Barrel wait until we voted in liquor before putting a restaurant here? Have I missed a page in the menu??? Lol!

I am not one to complain and either way is ok for me. It stated in the daily corinthian that corinth had liquor for 21 years before it was voted out in 1989, there wasn't to much coming to corinth back then. It also stated that $2 million dollars was made in that time frame... wonder where it went?? I wonder why corinth did not grow from all of that money for 21 years?
