I refuse to use a self-checkout. They take away from jobs. Don't worry though, the increase in minimum wage will help lower the workforce even more, and increase those low prices.

Not all cashiers are like that and I willingly help them with MY bags. But Walmart doesn't give enough of a low price for me to assist their lazy employees!
Go ahead and don't put your stuff in the buggy let the cashier do it. Whole your at it you can wait in line longer too and B!+€h about that. Think about it if you are helping them put the stuff in the buggy the quicker you can get checked out because they won't be having to stop, come around, load the buggy, and then go back around and start checking some more. It may be what they get paid to do but it holds up the line. And other people want to get out. It does not take any effort to put the bags in there. Plus if you got a lot gives you something to do instead of just standing there.

Maybe his point is they should hire baggers instead of expecting the customers to do that job...just a thought.

It's a corporation not some little mom and pop store. Yes baggers would be great, but do you really think they would do that considering they don't wanna pay cashiers as it is? I mean come on now they won't even open up registers.

Exactly...and if the customers keep getting less service for their money, then the companies will keep s#ittng on them.

My point made....I'm paying the same if not more for products and getting less service. Don't know why that is so hard for some of you to comprehend.

We comprehend it, but it's not our job to do anything about it. We don't work there. Obviously many people have complained about it and still nothing has been done. You know why they don't do anything ? It is because they know they can get away with it. I mean we all see how busy it is in there.

If you hate walmart so bad then go somewhere else!! You complain about long lines well of people would help put their bags in their carts then maybe the lines would be a little faster! Yes more registers open would be great but guess what walmart just like any other company has a payroll budget!!! And no I don't think it should be required they out your bags in the cart' I always put all of mine in my cart myself!!! So maybe you should shop another store

As a cashier at walmart it is not in our job requirement to put your groceries in your shopping cart (not buggy),cashiers on average, at least myself check out at least 200 people during a shift. That's at least 400 different bags of groceries we would have to pick up, and that's if you got the very minimum, which nobody does!!! On an average day, I go through over 1000 bags, and all you have to do is put the merchandise that YOU are purchasing in your shopping cart, and you guys are complaining! Pathetic and lazy!!

So I guess you don't agree with women being on the front lines in our military. You asked for it you get it. Now I think all men and women at age 18 should register with selective service

No but I don't pay someone to open my doors for me. I pay Walmart for their services. Therefore I expect the best service like other stores I go to.
