Anyone else received poor service from the ladies at the deli in Walmart?? I was there yesterday and waited for a while and finally one of the 4 ladies working there noticed me and yelled from across the deli with her back facing me What I wanted?...I didnt reply until she walked over to me. And again she rudely asked "What do you want?" and proceeded to serve me with the rudest service. Obviously not a people person. So rude. What happened to "How may I help you"?

Last time I checked, they weren't working for tips back there. That is the most stressful dept in the store. Either give them a break or a raise ...

I sincerely hope you alerted the authorities about this matter and they promptly arrested this miscarriage of justice.

I mean, you were there to buy three dollars of thin-sliced ham. The least she could have done was to roll out the red carpet and then beg at your feet for a few minutes.

If you are lucky enough to have a job in todays market you need to give it !00% no matter what the wage is. You took the job at that wage and if you are unhappy with what you are doing QUIT. The customer is not the bad guy and should be treated with respect.I worked in retail food for many years and down the road you will reap what you sowed. If there were no customers there would be no jobs.Retail is hard work but also has it's rewards.OH by the way that 3 dollars worth of ham gives you that pay check you get every week.

those people in the deli are obnoxious. They act as if they have a right to be rude. I have complained about this several times in the past and nothing happened. The managers at walmart are not exactly the most accomplished at customer service. They treat the customers as if they are doing them a favor by having walmart open for them to spend money at.

and when you do complain, the manager you are talking to, will "handle" you, and act like you are just being a jerk by complaining. They have this attitude of "just another unrealistic complaining customer". They don't want to give any credibility to your complaint to you in person. It is all a game to them, they know they have rude employees, there is no way they couldn't know. And some of their department "managers" are some of the rudest employees in the store. So, if they are setting the example, what more could you expect.

Yeah go to Booneville, where the deli associates take off the trash and then put on gloves with out washing their hands before serving you food. Imagine what goes on when you AREN'T looking. Working in retail is hard, you never know what kind of day your customer is having. Retail asociates should always be smiling and kind. But just like the customer, the associates could be having a bad day too. The customer before you could of been the ass of the day. Reguardless, you should of told a manager instead of posting it on topix so the issue can be fixed.

Giggle. Giggle. I think I just crapped out a waffle. A young, supple, unicorn shaped waffle to be exact. No syrup??

If anyone has a problem with an employee please see managment. They cannot fix the problem if they are not made aware of the problem. Getting on topix is not going to help anyone. We want all of our custmers to be happy. See any manager of your choice and I will guranteed that the problem will be dealt with professional.
you should have started handling it before this topix thread showed up. If you had, it would not be here now. And you know it. So, once again, you, being in management at wallyworld think you can "handle" a customer and tell them how to "handle" their complaint. Hum, maybe, you should not try to close the barn door AFTER the mule gets out. There has been a severe rudeness problem in that deli for many, many years, I have complained many times as have many people I know about personally, and NOTHING was done. I was made to feel as if, in fact, I were the one doing something wrong. That has been the practice at WalMart for a very long time and everyone in town knows it. I stopped buying anything from the deli, I started going somewhere else and often paying more money to keep from being the butt of the deli jerks attitude's. I am sure the gross sales at walmart are such that you did not even notice it, but, many of us have quit the walmart deli due to this continuing problem. Imagine what the gross sales for that department might have been had this problem been dealt with YEARS ago. I spend 20 bucks a week in deli meat, multiply that times 52 weeks, times at least ten people I know of personally that have stopped doing the same. It adds up, but you dont miss it because your numbers are so high anyway. Tell you where else you are losing money on sales, is in the sporting goods dept, that girl that works back there and tells everyone she is the sporting goods manager, does not know her product and has a very bad attitude toward any customer that knows more than herself. I wont tell you on here what she tried to tell me, because then, you will know who I am, but, it would be embarrassing for walmart for someone in sporting goods to try to pass off the info she was putting out as fact about ammunition. Shes a rude smartalleck, Period and she has a serious attitude problem.

Hahaha. I love how you can anonymously declare that you will not shop at Wal-Mart. I'll bet that you are still going just as often. People in Corinth would die without Wal-Mart!

If a rude hamslinger, and someone who doesn't know everything about ammunition are your biggest problems, you are better tan 99.9% of the rest of the world.

Try the HBA department. I'm sure they have something that will help with your bleeding vagina.

Now das funnie rite dar, I'ont care who'yar!!!

My compliments, CT! You have skills!

I must add the humor I also found in his polling of other deli meat customers for the purpose of significantly (wink wink) adding to the dreadful losses soon to be experienced by this corporation so terribly dependent upon Alcorn County for it's ongoing survival.
