Saltillo, MS

My buddy and I went to United Steaks of America today and they were closed. We looked in the window and it looked like they were clearing the place out. Anybody know if they are going to reopen?
for sure

I had heard some new restaurants were going in the front section, but so far, nothing new on that side.

I really loved their food, but I ate there a few weeks ago and they had changed the meat they use. It wasn't nearly as good. I'm sad to see it go though.

I don't think they could compete with Peppers. Peppers was always packed compared to United Steaks of America. That place was alright but not my favorite sub shop. Granted most of my favorites are closed also :(

Armando also has a new Jackson, TN location over by the Sam's Club he opened recently, so can you blame him for closing up shop in Corinth for some quality business elsewhere, where beer and liquor licenses aren't a pain in the ass to maintain?

Corinth is not restaurant friendly. Too many cheap eating, non-tipping, poor rednecks around here to even pay 6.99 for a lunch. The people who have the money go to higher class chow joints.

Also, I've checked for spaces I've wanted to occupy, and Corinth Commons is expensive as hell to lease a unit. It's a wonder Armando waited THIS long to cut and run...

Sure....blame all of us 'ignorant' folks. It couldn't possibly be that the owner was obnoxious and the food was over priced. Can you spell Capitalism? Were 'rednecks' the reason he pulled out of Pickwick? With all things being equal, maybe it would behoove said owner to look in the mirror.

he closed because he was bout to be busted for tax evasion...he has done it in crump and pickwick...when things dont go his way he runs from his problems....hes is a low life pos....he just disrespected the customers and employees...he will eventually get busted for it ...the food was amazing but he was a jerk off....he needs to go back to where he came from...he will do the same in jackson...he will abandon his customers in jackson too ...he always has....and always will

Ate there a couple of times. Nice people, but the food was always too salty for my taste.
