The mayor, whether he did it or not, is getting a bad rep no matter or what.. People in Cordell are talking about him. It's not my fault he has such a bad rep right now. When My family needed his help, he did nothing.. I have no respect for the mayor what so ever..

Seriously?! My Opinion...are you one of the daughters? I seen on another thread where she was on here and you are obviously some sort of relative if you are straining so hard to see the good in this man. He might be a good person outside of his positions but he failed miserably at the task at hand. He illegally took funds. If he did not feel guilt he would not be offering to work for free. He is not trusted at this point and should walk away from his positions or be terminated. Its a terrible thing he has done for this community. Stop trying to sugar coat it...he did wrong. Face the facts. The STATE AUDIT is not made up information..its a years worth of research to come up with this information.

Of course, I see now why you are such good friends with the mayor, since I suspect he feels much the same way about many of the citizens in the town he purports to "love."

When all this first came out, the mayor spent time on cordellcrier.com --an online talk show hosted by Nick Lindley of Cordell. In that time, he consistently insulted the concerned citizens by inferring that they were "confused," they watched too much reality TV, and attended council meetings only so they could run home and exclaim, "guess what I heard!"

He also said he originally ran for mayor so that one of the "local crazy persons" wouldn't put their name on the ballot, because mayoral elections bring out the "loonies."

Moreover, he said that citizens were "unaware" of the way government worked, but that "it's obvious to those of us who can string two sentences together."

Yes, indeed, what a GREAT MAN.

I have saved all of these recordings just in case SOMEONE decides it casts him in the wrong light, and tries to purge them.

Absolutely no one is bullying him. and for your information. I come form another town and when My father needed business help he went to the mayor.. the mayor told him we would have to deal on our own. We have and the mayor can kiss my ass because we proved him wrong we are very successful now.. without the mayors help. Cordell is Nothing but shit talkers from what Ii can tell and then there are rare people who actually give a damn about other citizens. And if it wasn't for those few people in this town my family probably wouldn't be living in this town. I love those citizens that helped me and my family rise up from the mucks we were suck in.. As for the mayor. I hope he gets what he deserves. He did wrong to this town and he deserves whatever is coming for him.. Karma.. If he has to work the rest of his term unpaid.. so be it... How is this bullying? It clearly states in the report what is being said in the this discussion. Bullying would be making up things to tarnish his reputation. There isn't a need for that, it appears he has done that on his own. You look stupid for taking up for him and claiming that the state auditor lied and made this all up.

I can tell you are hurt by this report. If you are related to this man that is to be expected. Being let down by someone you love can be difficult.
But wishing harm or death upon another person at the hands of a truck is horrible. Never wish that upon anyone.

I didn't wish death! I wished injury! Because he is innocent. He really didnt do it. And if they were to throw him in jail it clearly states that they would have to throw ALL of the city council member since 1967 in jail! All living! Because they approved the transition of payment! So obviously that isn't an option. There might not be court to this either! He did nothing wrong!
