As you can see knowone gives a rats @ss! Why don't you get a life and teach your kids to be intelligent instead of hoping they will get somewhere in a skirt! You bunch of want to bes kill me! I would not let my child cheerlead simply because of pathetic people she would come in contact with! Do you see people interested in the activity NO cheering is very irrelavent anymore! And bad sportsmanship is a good match for cheering itself. It is legal underage nudity most of the time and any parent willing to sell their child short is a peice of crap. Take it out of schools even the student dont care. Its the PROUD parents who really care!

For your information my daughter is an honor student, doesn't do drugs and does not get get in trouble of any kind. Yes I am proud of her, she is an all around good kid. She is very athletic and enjoys cheering and going to school. You are apparently a very shallow minded person if that is what you really think. Maybe you are jealous of these girls, I don't know. You cannot judge everyone by the way some cheerleaders are. They are all kids and they will all act different ways and if your kid goes to school, they come in contact with cheerleaders in one way or another. If people were not interested in cheerleading, they would not have competitions. It was very rude of you to even comment on this subject when obviously someone was trying to give a compliment to Corbins cheerleaders and BTW I was at that competition and you girls did a GREAT JOB!!!

They never win anything. They are horrible. All they do is compete where there isn't competition and they still lose.

Why do you think North Laurel doesn't go there even though it is in their county. They are national and state champions thanks to Jomo.

No, they placed 3rd in a no competition category. Everyone is afraid of Dunbar so they are doing small, medium, or coed. It is almost as pitiful as the traditional category. Corbin fell twice but still placed 3rd. That is unheard of and shows the competition was really bad.

I'm a cheerleaders father. I never looked at the girls on the squads she cheered on as anything other than young girls. Remember my daughter is one of them mind you. Some uniform styles are much more progressive to some degree. My daughter cheered from 4th grade till her HS graduation. She sacrificed a great deal of time to practice for performance at competions and to always be sharp when representing her school and herself at games. My wife and I are musicians and we sing as well, in church. We stood behind our daughters choice to cheer. Gymnastics, private lessons in Lex from UK Cheerleaders; dance, ballet and tap. She doesn't play a musical instrument, she did however turn out to be an better than average softball player which just made dad's day. I love to dance myself, so her half time programs which I filmed and remember well; are all tasteful and not meant to seek provocative thoughts from their audience. I am as proud of my daughters dedication to the authelic sport of Cheerleading. She is a modest, dedicated young women whom I am very proud of. She didn't get somewhere in a skirt. How very bad it is that you and I can't talk face to face. Cheerleading is an intricate part of live athelitics. The responce from the fans can often rally a team to push themselves harder,to win. Not everyone is a cheerleader. Many make squads via politics, etc such is life. Our daughter did not have such BENEFITS? to use. Instead, she applyed herself and won her positions on the squads she cheered on. A close friend showed us copies of my daughters scores and the other girls, from 4th grade up. This was a few years after my daughter graduated HS. Our friend just wanted us to know we had a right to be proud. My girl had always placed in the top 3 of every squad since she had started cheering. This was done because she demonstrated passion and excellence whenever she cheered. She trained like an athlete, cheering is a sport in it's own right. How dare you accuse cheer parents;(lobbing the good in with the bad);as pushing thier kids to cheer so they as parents can live their lives vicariously through their child. I am blessed to have such a good daughter, a fine young women whom I love and am very proud of. She has even devoted time to sponsoring squads in the past. It's usually the parents, or some of them; who interfere in the function of the squad. Although the overall attitude of a lot of the girls I've seen lately are representative of debutants, some even arrogant and vindictive. Cheering is physically and socially tuff for a young girl. Most of them deserve your respect, not all atheletes show bad sportsman ship. None of this will mean anything to you. You are just spouting off, near nudity; god you must be on the floor trying to look up skirts. I would stay away from these type of events if I were you. Then you will not need to go on so much about your little uninformed perception of cheerleading.

I cheered all thru school and Cheerleading takes alot of time and hard work!! At least they are not out doing drugs and all that!! I am proud to hear about the corbin girls way to go u should be proud and support them instead of trying to bring them down!!! there is nothing at all wrong w/girls cheering!! My lil girl will hopeful follow me and cheer as well!! I would much rather her spend her time at pratice than partying and drinking!! I graduated very high in my class let ypu know I loved cheering and wouldnt change it for the world!! Girls work hard to stay in shpe dont mean that the are skanks or want to look like ho's!! just because these girls are not sitting at home eat on the couch and gaining weight means nothing!! Grow up people find somrthing better to do w/ur time!!! Great job girls Good luck!!
