Sometimes the need to open up some lanes when there are people 10 deep with carts full of groceries wanting to spend money.

I finally figured out the best time to go is 1 am.

I use to go before work or on lunchbreak. Had to walk out several times without my stuff so I had to stop. Really pisses me off when I take the time to shop and cannot get checked out because the lanes are closed. And don't think you can go throug the self-check its a piece of junk never works. Takes more time than waiting in line. I use the ones @ Kroger all the time and they are great. Wal-Mart get a clue!!!

I try to avoid walmart. It is alway to busy in there. It is cheaper to go other places to buy your grocerys.

Well I don't agree that groceries are cheaper elsewhere. I go to Krogers for sales but on the average Wal-Mart is cheaper especially on canned goods etc.

since the death of sam walton walmart has changed. the walton brats took over and service and the good walmart attitude went down hill. its hard to say anything good about walmart, but since nobody can compete with them we do not have any other choices.....slave to the walmart super power...

they need to take a clue from williamsburg wal-mart....the lines are never as backed up as corbin. granted there are fewer pepople shoping there but atlesast they have better guessed the customer:customer service personnel ratio. Lines were horrible today during my lunch break. I think it helps how williamsburg has their self check out lanes on the same side of the building as thier food.

well, i am agreeing with everyone, to be honest, waiting in line gets me in a bad mood before i go to work, so i go after work, but maybe walmart needs to bring down there prices, and maybe they need to hire some more cashiers--to do the job right.

I spent on average over 10K/year at the Corbin Store until 2 years ago last April when the manager refused to take a check because my wife had written it instead of me (she always buys the groceries). Quit the damn place cold and haven't been back since . . . I either go to Kroger or K-Mart now and can't say I've missed a thing except a lot of aggrevation.

The management BK needs to be talked to. It is one of the worst run stores ever. I go to London, the shelves are stocked, the employees are cleaner, friendlier and don't look like a bunch of sloppy hillbillies. Most of Corbin's employees are lazy acting.

i agree london and willamsburg have there store in better running condistions maybe if they had someone from those stores to come in and take over maybe it would change maybe they need to fire the head dude in charge and send somebody that would make a diffence in there

In was mad when the xbox 360 was coming out at midnight. I stayed in line for hours and missed out by one(In Wialliamsburg).
Then when I called Corbin, I was told they were all sold out. They had given out numbers to people in the daytime( even though the units were to be sold at midnight) to people who came during the day.

Then I asked to speak to the manager to complain, he said what was he suppose to do ? People were there for hours. Hello ?!?!!! If they came that early that was their problem. I felt that was so unfair. So unless the management has changed, I give them the thumbs down. Don't think highly of them.

If we had a Target, I would never use the Walmart in Corbin of which I think sucks. I sometimes go to London or Barbourville Walmart and avoid Corbin Walmart all together. For one thing, the Corbin store is not as organized as London, Williamsburg and Barbourville stores. Things are just all over the place, are harder to find and are never in the same place when you go back to the store. The associates in London and other places will help you or assist you in any way they can--Corbin will not. For example, one day I asked a Corbin associate to get something down from the shelve for me and was told, "just a minute." I stood there waiting for over 30 minutes and ended up just left without the item. If you ask the Corbin associates if they carry an item, they will always (I guess they are programmed to do so) tell you no even if they do carry the item because they are too sorry to look. Further, I also hate being ran down by the people at the front door to "see my receipt" and "check my bags" especially with no buzzer going off or anything. This is an invasion of privacy and next time, I think I will challenge it. Overall Corbin Walmart, your attitude sucks and you could take lessons from London, Williamsburg and Barbourville.
