I agree with you 100% but I don't know if it's stupidity or just closed minded people. Think of all the wonderful people they will miss knowing all because they are stuck in some backward time warp. I'm 58 years old and yes back in the day only people in jail mostly had them, but now it's not that way.

I felt my IQ drop about 20 points just by reading you’re holier than thou bullshit... Build yourself a bridge and get over yourself and tattoos. I have a few very small tattoos and guess what none of them can been seen when I'm wearing clothes, I didn't get them to feel better about myself I got them in memory of someone of who passed away and for other religious reason. Bet you would never think of that one. As for piercings go I have my ears pierced and my nose and very few people know I have it done because I never wear it.
As for you leper comment it can be treated now and they are cast off to some island, and if I remember right didn't Jesus help a leper and wasn't there something about nails piercing his hands on the cross. Don't even try and give me any bullshit I don't have my tattoos and my piercing for you to look at they are for me and have meaning for me only, and I couldn't care less if stupid people judge me it only shows more about what type of person YOU are not me. Oh and I’m in my third year of college working on a Bachelor's degree and I know many others who have big degrees that it would shock you to learn what that have tattooed or pierced… Have a wonderful day.

People with tattoos are not thought very highly of in the professional world. Would you want someone with tattoos all over their body to work for you. Maybe if you work in a factory or did ditches or something, but not making decisions in the boardroom of a big successful company. Have you ever seen on "Lockup" how many of the hardened criminals behind bars have tattoos all over them. Try 100%. if you have tattoos you have more in common with Charles Manson than Donald Trump or Bill Gates. You will regret your tattoo decision when you are an old papaw or granny at 70
You tattoo people should live as outcasts like lepers are. Put them on a nasty island somewhere where they can share their needles. Throw in the drug takers and drug dealers as well. We fon't need you in a civilized society. Hey, maybe live amongst one of those Pygmy tribes. You would fit right in there with your skin ink and body modifications. How gross... No wonder you have trouble finding jobs outside the tattoo parlor.
Wow your an idiot. What is your occupation? I am a forensic psychology student and I have a tattoo and piercings. I have worked at hospitals, independent living centers, a head start and never have a problem getting a job. You are probably the type of person that hates gays, overweight people, and people who arent the same color as you too huh? Guess what alot of people that your small minded @ss would never expect to have tattoos. They are just smart enough to cover them up.

HAHAHAHAHAHA......I am a college graduate. I have a full time job in a prestigious career that I love. I am the mother of the most wonderful teen in the world. I have a high IQ, and most importantly faith in God. I have never done drugs, never been in jail, and live a relatively normal life. I am 38 yrs old and fully intend to get tattoos number 4 and 5 within the next two years. When my daughter turns 18 and decides to get her first tattoo, I intend to be there with here, and will probably pay for it. So, judge me if you wish. Poor little uneducated idiot! Yep, that sums you up! I would bet that you yourself know people that hold very respectable and high paying jobs that have a tatto, piercing or both and you don't even know it. And I would bet that you most likely are angery because you possibly went up for a job or a job promotion and someone with visible tattoos or piercings got it and you didn't!

Why the anger and animosity toward individuals that are tattooed and/or pierced anyway?

I just so happen to have 13 tattoos and 6 piercings myself and I am a board member at a very respectable business here in town! So apparently those of us that are tattooed and pierced can and do have upstanding jobs in the community!!

NOT at a tattoo parlor!!! It is uneducated idiots like you that make me sick! Grow up sweatie...

Bubba,to phrase this as nicely as possible, you are a total idiot who is completely put of touch with reality. Tattoos are accepted in all strata of society these days. Unless I am sadly mistaken, Donald Trump DOES have a tattoo.

While I have never had the desire to be tattooed myself, all three of my grown children do sport tattoos. My wife is considering one as well. I am a college educated professional business person. My oldest son has a high profile job with a national company, making well in excess of 100k a year. I know doctors, attorneys, and even a couple of judges who sport tattoos. You need to get your head out of your hindquarters and join the rest of the world in the 21st century.

Let me correct my previous post. I had read someplace before that Donald Trump had a tattoo. I looked it up and he states that he does not. I apologise for the error.

You HAVE to be joking. You really couldn't have posted this in seriousness. If you did post this in seriousness, you should rethink your hate filled, idiotic diatribe and probably put a tad more thought into it this time around.

As of 2009 the percentage of Americans with tattoos was 17% as near as I could determine. 17% of ALL Americans.

Approximately 40% of Americans age 26-40 have at least one tattoo. This would include military people, cops, lawyers, judges, doctors, bankers, ministers, astronauts, ball players, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, and so on and so on and so on.

YOU are on YOUR way to becoming a minority. We are phasing folks like you and with your attitude out. Look around. Seriously. How much have attitudes changed over the last 10-20 years on MANY subjects that before, there was NO question on where society stood? Look at how quickly you and attitudes like yours are becoming...less mainstream.

I wonder where we can send you.......? I have an answer for that too.

Name the "successful" business(i.e, adult store, massage parlor). You are not about to name it. Either you're a goddamn liar or you would be fired in an instant if you revealed your body "art" lunacy! Unless you are employed at an adult store or a cigarette hut, that is. You are nasty!
BTW, what's "sweatie" ? Probably your filthy c*nt...
I serve on the board at KCEOC. I have a tattoo and piercings, and they know this. Sorry but there is nothing wrong with body art.

Yeah, you are also phasing out chastity, protecting the unborn, keeping one's body free of drugs, sanctity of marriage, and a whole host of conservative values. Look what color you have turned your White House with your phasing out of the values that conservatives hold so dear. Your tattoos and piercings go right along with your other liberal garbage.
What does having a tattoo do with protecting the unborn? You are racist and ignorant. I feel sorry for you.
