I'm sure the people there are wonderful, however if the owner runs it like he runs his bank I feel sorry for the residents. He will probably want to charge them each time the door opens..

Best nursing home around. My mother is up there and she loves it. It is so nice. All the people that work there say it is a great place to be. They really seem to care about the people who live there.

Understaffed, under supplied, bad owner. The people that work there really are wonderful people. I agree the office staff is wonderful. But when you constantly HAVE to pull doubles, HAVE to work your days off, and never have what you need to do your job it really stinks. While the owner sits back and lines his pockets with all the poor elderly's money that is so unfortunate to have to be there. Every place that he owns, is the same way. Not just Corbin, but all of them. Any employee that has been there more than 3 months is truly dedicated to trying to help make those residents life better because they are not treated in any way you would want to be treated. Certain management treat people so badly they can't keep any one they hire. So those of us that are left, have to fill in the spots whether we can or want to do it. Never any appreciation for going over and beyond, just threats of losing your job if you refuse to pull that next double you are being told you have to work.

I would have to agree. there is a new member of management that dont know what the hell she is doing. she just fires good workers all the time or gives them a hard time. maybe everyone should just walk out and let her work the floor herself. she is making corbin nursing home a living hell.

MAYBE....this person has walked into a living hell and, is finally trying to straighten some of the SHIT up that's been going on ...OH, for about 3 years now. Why don't people bear with her just a little while and MAYBE she MIGHT get a little help to back her up!!!!!
