I have to say the things ppl have said on this topix and the one on the young man who lost his life on the motercycle accident last week have been the most appoiling things I have ever seen said. I for one think not one of us knows if these two young man had drugs in their systems or not because tox tests don't come back that quick. Also we as humans should be caring not hurtful. How can any of you who has said hurtful things towards these young men look at yourselfs in the mirror. You can't hurt these two young men no longer just their loved ones who are already hurting more then you could imagine. The way your acting is as bad if worse then anything they may have done cause you are trying to hurt someone who did nothing to you. As for Travis we only have to pray to God and ask for forgiveness and all sins are forgiven it sounds like Travis prayed and I am sure with that all was forgiven.
I knew neither of these young men but their loved ones are in my thoughts.

My prayers are with this family. And just remember the bottom feeders that thrive on gossip and bashing people who have just passed have a reserved seat in Hell waiting for them.

the family is having a hard enough time with losing their son without a bunch of judgemental ppl making all kings of accusiations. travis was the ONLY 1 killed in this accident,so NO he didnt not take an innocent life. yes, he did pray with the 2 ladies at the scene. everyone needs to think......this could happen to any of us at any time, so dont be to quick to judge. GOD,is the only one who can judge! BILLY & TAMMY.....my heart & prayers are with you. I LOVE YOU GUYS DEARLY! SRM

Wow where do I start??? Ok first thing ppl said I need to look up the word good and great, I have travis was an excellent friend who would do anything for you...he touched so many lives in such a small amount of time...he was the kind of friend u could call for help and he would come running.he thought of hisself last and everyone else first..I went to hs with travis and it bothers me that ppl are so small minded that they would talk crap about him. So what he made a few mistakes is everyone on here so perfect that they never did anything wrong...travis will be greatly missed..he could walk in a room and light it up.u could be having the worst day and he could make u smile..once u met travis u never forgot him...travis wouldn't want ppl to cry but to remember the good times and smile....travis thank u for always being there u will be missed I love ya man...to his family don't let this idiots make u remember the way he died but the way he lived....my thoughts and prayers are with u and may u find peace....to those who are quick to judge remember one day u will be judged too.......

<quoted text>listen ass wipe, henever sold drugs to a kid if you had any balls at all you would post your name or even better yet come see me or his dad and say what you just did! travis was my nephew by marriage, but couldnt have been closer to our family, this topix crap needs to be removed, i came to this site just to see how bad you asses are off the mark, this site is for people who just want to gossip and say what ever they want no matter who it hurts, if you want to chat then go to facebook, not where you can remain anonymous, so hide in your little rooms and see who else you can hurt you piece of $hit!
I did not know Travis Mahan. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Just keep in mind things happen for a reason and God is in control. Your family is in my prayers. This comment is for the uncle who thinks it was ok to sell drugs just because they were not kids. Some of the people who buy drugs may have kids. So kids get the bad end of the deal no matter what. Don't justify what he did, if he did do that. I don't know because I did not know him. I'm just upset that you tried to justify him selling drugs.

Why don't each of you get down on your knees and thank God for what you have. I remember Travis from school. No ONE is perfect but he was someone's son, brother, cousin, grandchild and friend. Judge no lest ye be judged. Life happens when we least expect it. The bottom life is, a life is lost. Quit rejoicing in your gossip! Those left behind will have to pick up the pieces and carry on with heavy heart after burying their loved one. For whatever reason, it happened. No one will ever know the real truth, so please stop making judgements on something you know nothing about. My prayers go out to Travis' family and friends for they will live with this loss for all times. That pain will NEVER go away. All these negative comments jusdt run salt into their fresh wound. Have some compassion. How do I know what this is like. I lost my husband 29 yrs ago and this same bull was started. My husband would not take an aspirin, let alone any drug but the fine people of Corbin spread rumors around that he was into drugs. STOP IT NOW! The pain of his death still is with my daughter and I, partly due to the gossip moggers and small minded holier than thou ppl.Judge not least ye be judged. Let Travis' family grieve for their loss in private and keep your nast, hatefill opinions to your small minded self. Heaven help that one of you were to be in an accident and a big topic on here with your family grieving. This is the time when your true colors come out. I'm not afraid to post my name. Why is it that you don't? Afraid your sins will find you out? My name is Earlene Howard LAWSON Goins!
To Travis's family: My heart breaks for your pain. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. You knew Travis better than anyone one. Remember that and not this garbage written on this site. May God be will you always.

Be bigger than the person that is posting. Those that love and knew Travis will be the ones that will remember him and keep his life alive. Keep in mind everyone has friends and enemies. Hopefully he had more friends than enemies. May he rest in peace.

The police had received a call on him just before the wreck, that he was all over the road. He wrecked before they found him. He is just like the other guy that wrecked on the motorcycle last week he had been arrested a blue million time for everything. Just go look it up. There was also another dope head killed down off the Falls road yesterday by the name of Travis Cox. Hopefully these 3 dope heads deaths will send a message to the other ones, that the drugs are not working. The only thing good about it is no one else was hurt in any of the 3 wrecks. I hope they did have enough time to make things right. Because when people say RIP they must not realize there is no peace in hell. It will be torment 24/7 with no end.

Yeah...nothing like throwing in some "Jesus" in at the end of a gossip rant. It makes it all better. Tell us how hot it is when you get there, I need to know how cool to dress and how much sun screen to bring.

You folks are unbelievable. No respect for anyone. None. Regardless of the situation.

There are other reasons he could have been all over the road and one was he was very tired. He had just got home the night before and worked way too many hours in one weeks time..I think he could have been so tired he drifted off to sleep...We dearly loved you Travis and miss you.

youre an idiot, who said i was justify what travis done in his life? its not for me or you to judge, and this isnt the place or time to talk about it, let he who has not sinned cast the first stone- dont judge lest you be judged, get off your high horseim sure youve got family members that have done things your not proud of, travis was a great kid, did he make mistakes? hell yes he did, but you wouldnt be able to find a better guy in corbin!!!!
