Hey, just applied for $30 in gift vouchers for taking my 3 kids to the dentist.

Got a leaflet from Wellcare says if you are under 21 and go to the dentist by December 31st you can get a $10 gift card. Choice of Penneys Subway or Lowes.

real easy to get! Make appointment and get dentist to sign form

Woohoo $30 for my kids!!!

Unless you had insurance, you could have give the kids 175.00 each to spend and still had money left over, but if they had bad teeth and needed to go,any amount is nice,it is just most insurance don't cover dental which is rotten.last time i looked our eyes and teeth were part of us.

By rights that money belongs to the governemnt to help pay for your child's dentist bill. You said you have a medical card and no deductible so it should go toward your child's dental bill.

life is peachy but i dont think YOU paid for anything for these kids. If your gonna work then work but dont blame these people cause u gotta pay for braces for ur child. U most def. arent paying for her three kids. Im so sick of people acting like they're better than anyone. Honey u put ur clothes on the same way she does. You're no better than anyone. Yeah u may be more fortunate but by far she is prolly a better mother than u ever thought about being. Things dont just get handed to anyone. Im sure she dont like having to depend on government for help but guess what.. Thats the cards shes been dealt and she chooses not to fold. Could u ever imagine being that happy to see someone get 30$..?!? Stop judging!! Keep ur opinions to urself. Let it go or burn in hell!!! Either way dont matter to me. Live ur life and let everyone else live theirs.. Ughhhh!!! Makes me sick!!!!!

How do you people know that she doesn't have a job? Just because she gets medical assistance for her children does not mean that she doesn't work. My husband and I both have very good jobs but we can't afford the insurance rates so guess what...our two children get a medical card. And before you start yelling about your tax dollars, well the way I see it it's my tax dollars too that pays for my kids. Oh and heaven forbid when your ass gets old and needs that gov't
assistance that someone's tax dollars will be paying for. Let's just see how you judge then.

My husband and I both work and we can't afford insurance for our 2 kids but I still have it for them. I am sick of these people getting their kids on disibility for ADHD just so the can get a monthly check, food stamps and medicaid. They need to get jobs and teach their kids to work instead of how to work the system.

Well obviously you can afford insurance for your kids or you wouldn't have it. My point is everyone wants to get on here and judge people when they have no clue about their life. My family cannot afford insurance due to the fact that I am very diabetic. Private insurance companies want upwards of $600 a month for me alone. So not everyone gets food stamps and whatever else you said. And not everybody is lazy and don't work. We work six days a week. The ones that don't deserve help are the ones that have ten kids they don't even keep and are so strung out on drugs that they don't even know their name. Not everybody's story is the same. I don't feel bad one bit about getting help..i pay my share of taxes in just the same as the next person.

I didn't say anyone was lazy, but we do without a lot of nice things to cover our health insurance, I could be a stay at home mom if it weren't for the cost of it, I make what he gets cut a week, luckily I don't have to pay for child care as my kids are older.......and I'm a good mom, I didn't put anyone down as a mother, you took it there! I help with the homework, cook, clean, and have yet to miss a single one of my children's games.....and my husband puts in 70 hours a week to provide for our family, so how about you keep your opinions to your self!!!

Well for starters there sweetie I am entitled to put my opinion on here just as you are to put yours. Second I never called anyone a bad mother..don't really know where you got that from. And last but not least YOU are the one that got on here judging people. So who should really keep their opinions to themselves?

I do apologize to you...i realize now that your comment was probably in response to the other person. But I still don't think you should judge the reason of why some people need help. Granted some people take advantage of it, there are some that truly cannot help it. Have a good day.

I just don't think the system should offer more incentives......I have had to use medical cards myself at one point, my judgement was on the system, not the person, I never said anything about them, and as a tax payer and a voter, I'm allowed to judge the system! So many people abuse the system and I get tired of it!

If you and your husband both work and still your childern qualify for a medical card and they aren't disabled, then at the end of the year when you file for federal income tax you would recieve what is called earned income credit because of your income level, in other words you would recieve a larger refund than taxes paid in! I believe that may be some of my tax dollars as I have never recieved more than i paid in federal taxes!

You don't know what I received back in taxes, so how can you make the assumption that it was YOUR tax dollars. We do not get hardly anything back in taxes matter of fact last year we had to PAY! So go ahead and make another judgement on something you know nothing about.
