I have yet to see one church in town that is against alcohol sales. I have saw many protest against the legalization of alcohol sales. I have saw signs urging people to vote against the legalization of sales, articles in the newspaper, rallies, etc.... However, I have not saw the same level of protest against the illegal sales of alcohol. Alcohol has been sold in this town illegally for years. Anyone who thinks this isn't true is either blind, or lacks common sense. It makes no sense to me why churches have not shown the same display of protest against illegal alcohol sales. It's very easy to do. Get a couple hundred church members together, make some signs, and tell your local sheriff he will be voted out if the bootleggers are not shut down. There is strength in numbers. However, I get the feeling that local churches are no threat at all to the local bootleggers. Afterall, they have to have a bootlegger so they can purchase beer in private, and drink on the back porch. I am catholic, therefore I buy beer at krogers, and drink on the front porch.
You "have saw" those things? WOW! I usually say "have seen", but then again, I graduated high school....

If this was the Whitney from London that got whipped I'm sure she deserved it and some she is nothing but a white trash money hungry skank she has broke up more than one family that I know of/relationships if she thinks that a man has money she will do what it takes to get to him. And if this is why the girl whipped her good for her it's about time she got a dose of what's been coming to her for a while now. I also thought she poses to be a model why would a model have to wotk in a Liqour store in Corbin,Ky that is just to funny.

I've been hearing that the number of people overdosing causing death and near death have really increased since the liquor stores have opened. I wonder if it's because of all the local pill heads now have access to alcohol. Most people don't OD on just alcohol or just pills. Statistics show it's the combination of the two. We all would agree that most pill heads have no reliable transportation due to their habit or they have no insurance so their afraid of traveling to far from home. Somethings happening for sure. I'm not pro or con alcohol I just choose not to partake.

Maybe this is the answer to jail overcrowding.

Actually liar, statistics show majority of people overdose on the substance that they had quit recently and then relapsed and tried to do the same amount but heart can't take it.

First of all what does these last 2 post have to do with someone getting their butt kicked in a liqour store...second of all the liqour stores have nothing to do with people overdosing if so I guess Lexington...Richmond...Jellico ...and all the other surrounding areas would have people overdosing as well...third I would say the people that are overdosing in Corbin is not overdosing on pills...how about meth and heroin I think these are the top 2 drugs that are a concern right now...and for most of all so what Corbin has liqour stores now it's the 20th century not the 50's and 60's stop trying to dig for excuses and blaming it on the liqour stores....they choose to do the drugs nobody makes em do it they know the consequences when they turn to drugs..
