Oh, I'm sorry Jethrene Bodine sister to Jethro Bodine on the Beverly Hillbillies, you didn't get past the 6th grade. Oh wait, you can't even be an instructional aide or maybe even a custodian. Oh but wait, you could be a custodian because you got a lot of practice mixing chemicals while making meth. I think maybe if you don't have a record you might be able to be a PAVE volunteer. It's harder than you think to be a teacher. Btw buses are parked and are not allowed to drop off students technically until 7:10. Some drivers try to drop students off so that they can get to their second job or drive to the main campus. OgS is a great school. My kids went to OGS and turned out just fine, even though I had to park in an inconvenient parking space occasionally. What's the big deal? Lol quit whining!!! Enough!!!!

Oak Grove anyday over Corbin. What a bunch of whiners! OG is the best school in the area. Look at the scores. They are way ahead of most other schools in the area. Yes their parking is not the best but whose is. Part of the reasont the parking is so bad is that parents from all over (including Corbin) want their children in the school. The teachers are great. My child has went to this school in K. We moved away for a year and all she did was cry to back to that school. We moved back and she is very happy again. Quit whining about stupid stuff and be glad the teachers care about your children and their education. If you don't like Oak Grove, get out and go somewhere else. The parking might just improve when you do that!

Well...if there will be nothing else, I'm going to bed now. I've got to get up early in the morning so that I can get to Oak Grove at 7:10 to make sure I get a good parking spot. I have to make sure my 6th grader gets into the building ok. I better make sure that I sign in at the front office and get my visitor's badge so that I can be there in the lunchroom to open his plastic silverware baggie to eat his breakfast with. He might need some help with that. Oh no, I almost forgot to do his homework. I better get that done or one of his slobby teachers will throw a fit. It's a good thing that I am there to take it out of his binder for him because those lazy good for nothing teachers won't do it. They're so stupid...I could do their jobs for them with my eyes closed, but I'm so glad that I don't have to because, if I did, I would miss all of my favorite daytime shows before it's time to go pick him up. I have to get there at 2:00 and wait outside until 2:55 when they will finally let us in. I can't imagine what they do until 2:50 every day.
yea good for u... Go on to bed. Feel sorry for u if u gotta do all that for a 6th grader cause thats pure laziness. On the otherhand im talking about a 1st grader .. Get a life and stay outta mine. Wtfe!!!!!

If you want to complain about parking go on over to the Corbin Primary and look at the line than extends back to 5th street waiting for parent to pick their kids up.. The teachers get there earlier than any of those kids and have alot of things to bring in, like the homework your kid didn't turn in last week that they had to bring home and grade on top of the other work they bring home to grade. I couldn't do their job, they have to deal with whinny kids and their even more whinny parents. I would be in jail the 1st time a parent came to complain because their idiot kid can't do the work and blame it on me!!! They deal with a lot more than you ever would doing your lame job or cooking Meth or hookin what ever your so called job is. I moved my kids from Corbin to OG because the education is better and they have a lot more activities for the kids and the parents to partake in. So if it is so important for you to have a parking spot up front so your kid will be the 1st one picked up then get off your A$$ and get to the school sooner or Quit making METH go to College and get you a teaching education and get a job there. Bet you quit within the 1st week. The teachers are anything but lazy and they do not just sit at a desk and yell at kids. I am a PAVE Volunteer there and have sat in with teachers. They are on their feet every minute of the day except for the 10 min of lunch they get because they have to walk the kids down to the lunchroom then walk back to their room, and in this time they are multitasking eating while grading or getting things ready for the class after lunch. So before you go and say they are lazy and do nothing go Volunteer out there and see what they really do or STFU!! Mrs Faulkner is a great principle and is what the kids need. She is fair but firm and every action will get an opposite but equal reaction. So before you get pissed at the teacher or the principle for your kid getting in trouble ask you "PERFECT ANGEL THAT NEVER DOES ANYTHING WRONG" what they did to get the punishment. So before casting the 1st stone get your facts straight. If you don't agree with the school system and how it is being ran take it to the BOARD, but beware they don't allow Crack Heads in the building. GO BRUINS!!! TEACHERS AND STAFF HAVE MY SUPPORT. Park where you want and keep doing the great job you are doing to mold the children of Future.

You won't get Ms. Paul back, they didn't want her. The board member she trusted so much made sure of that - he wanted his neice in (Tonya) so they made up a position at the board to move her. They made her think they really needed her. She is so blind to what happened. And she still thinks TF is her friend. She needs to wake up and smell the roses. So, you are stuck with TF now. Sorry about your luck. It will continue to go downhill. One good thing, they may not lose as many to Corbin because they won't be as smart now!!!! Why they continue to put inexperienced people in principal postitions is beyond me.

Every school in KY goes by the same standards as every other school in the nation. The teachers are great its the stupid kids and their dumb A$$ parents that are the problem.. And OG has scored higher than Corbin on the state test ever year!!!

You must have not gotten what you wanted at some point in dealing with either of these very professional, highly qualified, and well regarded ladies. Did one of them not let you have your way? Ms. Paul was a wonderful principal and she is truly missed. However, Mrs. Faulkner is just as outstanding and is doing a wonderful job. Your comments indicate a personal grudge that has nothing to do with anything. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you find peace in your life.

I'm sure that you have heard by now that Ms. Paul's husband has passed away. We learn of his passing on the very day that you are so hatefully disrespecting her and Mrs. Faulkner. I hope that you truly have just a little remorse in your heart for the things you have said. It is my wish that all of you that hate the faculty and staff of Oak Grove Elementary so much will refrain from making any more negative comments and let this thread die out of respect for Ms. Paul as she is, and forever will be, a member of our Oak Grove family.

Can someone tell me when the next boatd meeting is? The parking situation is rediculous. the teachers and staff are taking the parents parking and its frustrating trying to go in and out everyday. can they not walk in anywhere other than where they park?
Also since everyone is observing all that goes on,I would like to add a few, I am in and out everyday and 95% of parents, family members etc. are going in and out to fast and on cell phones and the kicker is when they have a cigarette in one hand, cell in other and trying to turn in or are barely moving. Then when the buses are trying to get in and out with all the kids and it hot, they drive in the little a/c car can't wait 10 seconds to let out a bus load of hot kids. Do you all love your kids/family members? You say you do but you won't convince me until you slow down, stay off the phone until you are stopped safely and out of the way! This also goes on at Corbin Primary I have to pass by that school also,no respect for anyone turning in or out anywhere. Oak Grove is better now than before, always has been a great school,it went down in leadership {my opinion} for a short time, but now it is great, you can talk to these principals and not get cut off they don't judge on who or what you are, and they don;t believe one side or the other until they weigh the evidence,in other words all are treated fairly and given a chance. The security guard needs to do more than hold the post up,don;t know if they realize that. But my main peeve are the parents/family members who think it is a speedway through and by the schools and do not love the kids enough to stay off that cell phone, what is so important that you can't stop for a minute or wait a minute til your parked.Don't have time? Don;t wait til the last minute to get your kids to school you put me and mine in danger with all the nonsense. Their is one woman in a dark van that I believe the cell must be glued to her ear and her arm stuck up in that position and she has several kids also can't drive like that she does not seem to realize maybe? People quit putting all of us and your loved ones in danger slow down, put the phone down for a few.

There is no need to be down right rude! If the parents are dissatisfied--they are dissatisfied. However, they do need to express their dissatisfaction at the proper venue and not on here.

Let them go to a meeting or collectively schedule an appointment with the principal or the superintendent if they are unhappy.
