Thats some funny shit. Corbin Speedway opening in 2012 with John E Davis running it. Not going to happen. The onlt way Corbin Speedway is going to make it is for john to sell it and get away. that place is dead. Just let it rest in peace.

from ww.corbinspeedway.com PAGE MOTORSPORTS TO OPERATE CORBIN SPEEDWAY
Page Motorsports of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., has secured an agreement for the operation of Corbin Speedway for the 2012 season. Keith Page of Page Motorsports, a race team owner for over 20 years, will be the general manager and will be responsible for all areas of operation.
“John Davis, the owner, has done his best to operate Corbin Speedway,” Page said,“but with his regular job and family responsibilities, he hasn’t been able to devote the time and effort necessary for the promotion and operation of the track.”
Page added,“We believe that this track can be brought back to prominence through a concerted cooperative effort by the management, the race teams who need a place to compete, and the fans who want a place to watch the competition. We intended to work hand-in-hand with the teams in order to make this a success. And, we have hopes to continue on past the 2012 season.”
He said that preliminary plans call for four classes of competition – Late Model, Pure Street, Modified Mini, and Mini-Cup, plus special events to be added at various dates.
Weekly purses will be posted for all divisions, based on car count, a point fund will be established for each division, and weekly technical inspection for each division. Special programs interacting with fans, such as bicycle races for children, etc., which have proven popular in the past, will also be scheduled.
“We have plans for our rules to be tailored to suit the needs of the competitors,” Page related,“and we’ll discuss all of our plans at a meeting in December.”
The meeting has tentatively been scheduled for Saturday, December 10, with a specific time and place yet to be determined.
All interested competitors should watch the Corbin Speedway website, www.corbinspeedway.com , for additional information, as well as the Corbin Speedway Facebook page.

Stands are going to be 12.00 for adults. Car and driver are 40.00 a week with 15.00 of that money going into a point fund each week is what I have heard. 25.00 for a regular pit pass.
