Like 3 seniors already have because they want them to play jv, and plus the first day of practice the coach already apparently had his starters pick out, and they don't worry about the jv team.. They looked awful at the passing scrimmage!

When our students and athletes at LC start taking all of the negative comments and the unneccessary, hurtful things people say and use that as fuel to achieve it will be awesome.
I am a graduate of Corbin and graduated Ranking 10th in my senior class. Corbin students and athletes deserve the praise they get and the recognition. They have had parents and the community to support them. They have earned the support. However, the students and athletes at LC deserves support from the community and home. They don't deserve the constent negativity and hurtful things being said about them.
I have worked with these kids for 14 years and I know their home situation and the struggles that most Corbin kids and parents wouldnt fathom. I know of several people in our community who have graduated from LC and have very prosperous careers and successful lives.
Keep your thoughts open to the fact that if the community would encourage and support these kids instead of beating them down all the time, how great of an area and town this place could become.
I still support the redhounds and am so happy for their earned success, but I also love the students at LC and support them and work daily to try and help them see what I see in them. Come on people, give support from time to time and don't beat these kids and the school up. There are issues and we all know that, however there are issues no matter what school system you go too. The difference is, the community lends a helping hand and picks them up rather than stomping their heads in the ground and add insult to injury.
Good luck to both Corbin and the Cats this year!!!! May you both reach new success that has never been achieved before!!!
This may be the best post I have read on here. We need both schools and communitities to be successful if the area is ever going to prosper the way it is capable of.

Ok I never try to get into these things but my son showed me this and it aggravates me, these boys are trying their butts off too do their best and I say good for them. I also agree with a previous post it all starts at home encouragement, discipline, and all around good behavior, I have family in both lynncamp and corbin it isnt about the schools its about the kids and I say good luck to both teams win a bunch of games and stay safe but remember academics first!!

Well Lynn camp needs to let all the kids play . But I see they have their picks. And it's not right for those boys to work their butts off in practice and never get to play. It's sad that the coachs thinks more of those starters than the other boys. And if it keeps up I'm going to complain to the school board over it

Well I give it 2 months and ever one of the boys that plays for Lynn camp to walk off the field because they don't get to play. It's sad to say but it's the worst I have seen it . At least when Mitchell was their every kid got to play

Seriously I do NOT understand how people think that when you get to the MS and HS levelthat every player has the RIGHT to equal or even any play time. That is npt how the world works. I'm sorry that upsets soem players and their families but once you leave pay toplay peewee leagues that is reality. That is even how itis on elementary level school teams. The most talented get the most time--because that means a better opportunity for a WIN.

As you I don't ever get into this gossip page... I have several children that go to Lynn Camp. There are more kids playing now than ever be abuse of the coach letting everyone play and be a part of a team/family. This community needs to stand behind every kid no matter what school they go to. If they keep hearing negative comments its just going to knock them down. Alot of kids did not want to play for the last coach and now more have came out to play. Season hasn't even started yet and already parents want to complain about their kida not playing. Not playing what we haven't even had the first game, give it time!! I bet this will be the best year for football at the big LC!!!!!!!!!!

LC has the weakest shcedule they have had since 1977 if they don't win 7 games this year they will be a complete failure......You guys need to be realistic their first 11 are decent at best. You people crack me up.....I bleed orange but sometimes you have to be honest with yourself. If the school board cared about LC they would have hired someone with some experience but they wanted a puppet just like the principals they are all Huletts puppets....I hope LC wins the state championship but you can't come in and totally change everything and expect great results..I did notice a few new coaches on the sideline but it was like they weren't allowed to speak or coach. I hope this guy will listen to the other coaches and let them help him because he has ZERO head coaching experience...Go Cats
Just a little tid bit of information, Coach Mitchell already had the line up picked out before he left. It was already set in stone. As far as coaching experience goes, he came from coaching football at Union College so I'm sure this isn't his first rodeo. Maybe, just maybe that because he is someone fresh with fresh plays and ideas in mind that LC may have a chance to win this season. Could be what this team needed. They have more players that have came out to play than there has been in years for the simple fact that no one wanted to play for Mitchell.

Well I know he has lost 3 seniors because they never get to play. And it's untelling how many more he loses because they alway stood on the side lines. And when parents drive to the games they would like to see their kids play because standing their the hole game.

Playing time? The season hasn't even started. And you are already illiterately bitching about playing time? Welcome to HS football and the real world. Participation trophies are a thing of the past. Tell little Johnny to earn it. And stop whining...or better yet, take little Johnny home and teach him to be a chip off the block whiney, non-spelling quitter. It will take him far in the real world.

Well when they stop playing two-hand touch and start hitting the seven man sled they might start to improve and get tuffer but until then they will keep getting manhandled.
