In the past few days Senator Diane Feinstein of California has stated publicly that her new Gun Control Bill might contain language requiring citizens to turn in their guns. Working with ATF and other Washington liberals Feinstein is composing a list of guns and magazines to be banned. The list now tops over 100 different types of firearms and all magazines over 10 rounds. Feinstein has stated she will introduce gun control / confiscation legislation in January 2013.
Just wondering? If a gun control bill passes and the legislation includes a mandatory and compulsory "buy back program" leading up to eventual confiscation how would you respond? Would you turn in your guns?
I would not.
It might pass in the senate, but I don't see it passing in the republican controlled house.

When have they ever banned anything that you couldn't get ?

The Supreme Court struck down gun bans in Illinois and DC as being unconstitutional.

The 2nd Amendment stands.

The gun cannot be un invented, it has been around in a crude fashion since the Chinese invented it around 1100 AD.

If we are ever invaded by a foreign govt such as china or Russia , out military could not protect us. Therefore, an assault rifle would be handy. It may seem far fetched, but there could come a day when we will have to defend out country on our own soil.

I'd rather have one and not need it, than need one and not have it.

Three days ago a small CIA prison transport plane crashed in Northern Mexico, it was carrying 4 tons of cocaine and headed for America. The pilots vanished and the news is silent, now I doubt if anyone can find the story.

"You won't get gun control by disarming law-abiding citizens. There's only one way to get real gun control: disarm the thugs and criminals. lock them up and if you don't actually throw away the key, at least lose it for a long time...Its a nasty truth, but those who seek to inflict harm are not fazed by gun controllers. I happen to know this from experience."

We should also not forget about the fast and furious debacle conducted by the ATF, that ended up giving thousands of guns to the drug dealers in Mexico.

CNN, CBS, ABC and NBC buried this story during the election.

Oh yeah Obama and his buddy Attorney General Holder knew nothing about it. YEAH RIGHT !!!!!!!

There are 90 guns, to every 100 US citizens. This is based on registration of legal gun users, so that statistic is lopsided, there are in fact more guns than people.

So will such a small percentage of non gun owners restrict the gun rights of the majority... likely yes. Because gun owners do not speak out, they depend on the NRA to be their only voice. What have you done to keep your guns, ammo and accessories???, that's right, not a damn thing, not one letter, not one street rally, nothing. Americans deserve to loose their gun rights, they do nothing to keep them.

I guess I fall into your catagory of those who haven't done anything other than to join the NRA. Like many, I always felt that it would never come to this but here we are. Right now I am still in shock of what may very well come and like many have began to hoard guns and ammo. We are being watched on these social networks and with their vast resources, they will always be one step ahead of us. Sad to say but right now our best bet is the NRA as far as a voice speaking for the rest of us. What we really need is a 100 million man march on DC and demand things be done in the best interest of the American citizen.

The People used make changes, standing on their soap box and being heard. Try that today. The People can still make change. Every time a bill comes out that threatens your rights, rally on the steps of the court houses, stamped the mayor, senator and govenor's offices and be heard in numbers. This technique made America, and still can. One voice, can rule a thousand silent ones.

Thanks for wasting 20 minutes of my time on an infomercial. They share some good information but want $39.95 for information they claim will save your life. For that price I can pick up more ammo which will have a better effect in my opinion.

Who really thinks the Government can find who has guns and then start collecting them? They can't even keep convicted Killers from having them LOL They are the ones talking big talk- only a fool would comply with laws they can't possibly enforce in the first place. They are counting on masses to just do what they're told to do and they will be fooled but act like it happened and idiots will believe that. Awb did nothing about Columbine, Tim McVeigh or dozens of other mass murders.Another AWB will fail also.

Actually our citizens being armed prevented an armed Japanese invasion during WWII while our military were tied up overseas.

Same reason the free speech advocates needs a computer, cause they want one and that's enough of a reason. Way tooo much misinformation and name calling by folks who doesn't want people to
enjoy their second admendment rights. what purpose is there to confiscating a certain type of weapon, is it because you don't like it or you think it is more deadly than others ?? in my opinion the most deadly weapon available to the general public is a twelve gauge pump shotgun loaded with buckshot. The laws on the books against guns aren't enforced now, so what are adding more restricted ones going to do to stop criminals from carrying out murders, robberies and assaults ?

Well, what if some people, like in Boston, want to prove how stupid it is to monitor guns and show that you can go to a city break in to a home and use the the items they have in that house to make a bomb- should we start monitoring pressure cookers, batteries, back backs, and anything flammable

You are soooo right, people have been killing each other since the beginning of time, who was it according to the Bible that killed several with the jaw of an ass ?? People who don't value life will kill for a few dollars or anything if they are hopped up on drugs.
Some historian once said if you trade security for freedom, you will end up with neither!! I would rather retain all of my freedoms and not be at the mercy of a druggie or other malcontent person.
Hitler told the citizens of Germany to not worry the police and military will take care of you, right before he confiscated all of the weapons, needless to say he had millions killed because they weren't of the correct race!!!
Patrick Henry best summarized the correct attitude wit his statement, " Give me liberty or give me death"
