I'm more curius to know who started this topic. Leave things alone. You don't really want to know what happened to these people, you want to cause trouble. You know what I'm talking about.

NO, if I knew anything, I would do the right thing and contact police. For all you know I could be a family member to one of the people, and I know that at least one of the people listed above isn't considered a murder case, just a missing person case. and by know the are probably considered legally dead. I just know that with at least one of those people listed above the case will most likely never be solved and nobody wants to talk about that person. If you want to know what happened to the first two people then go ahead and try to get people talking,as for Jeremy the police and whole damn town knows what happened and the police have done nothing, wonder why? That whole situation is pretty messed up. To think a family lives in a town all their life, being loyal to the town, family, and friends. Then something as horrible as this happens, and this is how the people repay that poor family. Myself,I would like to say I'm sorry for the way this corrupt town has treated you.I don't think not one family in the tri-county area has stopped to think what if that was my family. The whole damn town should be ashamed, including the main investigator on the case, whoever that is. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this case out. And don't the police watch tv? Because everyday you see a cop show were they are investigating cases like this and they use equipment to see if blood has been places even if it has been cleaned up. The police could have did that to the accused boys trailer, if they were not corrupt. And I can tell you why this didn't happen, because the police claim that the city and county can not afford that type of equipment. The sad truth is that they don't want to have that type of equipment, because then it would be to hard to cover their ass for being paid off.As far as i know the police never did anything like that, but waited and let the boy burn down the evidence. And without doing any research at all,i bet when that boys trailer burnt the fire chief that was in charge was woodbines finest Rick Fore. Sorry people, but i don't think I'm the only person anymore questioning that mans credibility.Isn't the people tired of the bullshit. And all you so called good people that claim people are afraid to talk. Well your dumb. Those people can't come after a whole town, stand up for your town and your children's future, besides there's more than one way to tell things that you want told and still be discreet about it. Merry Christmas you fine people of corbin.

first off let me apologize for my statement. i did feel like i was being threatened to shut up about everything. i just dont take threats very well from anyone...EVER. i do not know jeremy or what happened to him. i will find out tho. i also know how cruel and blind corbin is. i do know the first 2 folks i mentioned. im sorry for your pain and sincerely wish i could help. as far as folks being afraid, well some things in life are worse than death, one is having to live in fear. no man has to hunker down and hide from bullies and thugs. believe me, paybacks are a mf'er. those people will get theirs. i am glad you stood your ground and spoke your mind. stand tall dude. the truth will come out. and thugs and low lifes will not prevail.

It was December 12th 1965. No person was convicted. However, the case was closed. The name Don Fee was mentioned as being convicted (on topix), but this is not true. No one was convicted. Never heard of a Don Collins. Flora Inman lived in the home owned by a Mr. Nicholson and his wife at 614 Master St. She worked at East Ward across the steet. She lived next door to D. C. "Lum" Robbins 610 Master street. The papers never came out and said it, but rumor was that his daughter was released from a mental hospital, and during christmas, and while visiting went next door and stabbed her over 50 times. She was soon after sent back to the hospital never to be released again. This is the rumor. Fact - in 1965 Mr. Robbins did live next door and he worked for the railroad, but the rumor stated it was his teenage daughter that did the crime. Problem. D.C. was age 67 at the time (by the way he lived to be 100) and his wife was 65. They had several daughters and sons. All the daughters married and never lived in Corbin. The only son that lived in Corbin was the last child born in 1935 and he moved away in 1964. Therefore, unless someone has better information, he did not have a daughter that age - the youngest being mid 30's. The daughters married and had children in the year following 1965 (someone in a mental hospital would not be allowed out to marry and have children after that). Perhaps it was a granddaughter, or another relative, and perhaps this is like the rumor about someone named "Don Fee" - Nothing to it. The only thing that I have researched that connects the Robbins family to Ms. Inman is that they lived next door. If anyone has an intelligent question I will respond if I can. If you have any interesting information about the case, I, and others would like for you to share.

Just exactly who is it that you think discussing these unsolved murders is going to cause trouble for? We know for sure it's not the murdered people! If I were a family member I would be glad that people still cared and wanted to help find the persons responsible for committing these crimes. "Methinks thou dost protest too much".

Cold Case of Claude Shelton and wife Sue Shelton Missing

For Other Kentucky Government Sites Visit:

Detectives are asking for your help in a missing persons case from 1971
Last Seen: 41 years ago
Last Seen May 21, 1971, in Corbin, KY

On May 21, 1971, Claude Shelton and his wife, Sue Shelton, left their residence at Gerry's trailer park on 18th street in Corbin, and never returned.

They left their residence, after putting their three kids to bed, apparently en route to King's truck stop five miles away. This is according to their daughter, Sherri, who overheard them talking after going to bed.

The Shelton's presumably left in their vehicle, a white 1967 Ford Galaxies 500. None of the employees at King's remember seeing them. A witness stated that they had been saving money and had approx.$600.00. The daughter said they kept money in a bowl in the kitchen but it was never found.

Mr. Shelton had been steadily employed for 10 years and, according to witnesses, both he and his wife were fond of their children and it is unlikely that they would leave them.

22 years later, and a mother still does not know who killed her daughter.

On August 16th, 1990, a Bell County woman went missing in the Pine Mountain State Park while she was running.

More than a week later, 21-year-old Jennifer Bailey was found strangled to death.

As the case grows colder, Janice Bailey, her mother, fears she will never know who took her daughter away.

"I just get in bad shape. I don't want to do nothing, I can't eat. It's awful. Its like going to hell and never coming back ," said Janice Bailey.

22 years ago, Jennifer Bailey told her mother she was going for a jog and should be back around noon.

Janice says her daughter always called if she was going to be late. That day Jennifer did not call, and she never came home.

"It was like a sledgehammer hit me in the chest about 12:00 that day, and I started screaming and crying," said Janice Bailey.

They would find Jennifer's body days later, strangled to death.

"It might be 22 years, but she was still my baby, and I still miss her, and I still love her," said Janice Bailey.

She says she only wants to know who killed her daughter.

"I want it solved. I want who ever did it to pay for it. I would want the needle put in their arm. That's what I want," said Janice Bailey.

But no matter how much she wants it, she believes she will never see justice, something she feels her daughter deserves.

If you have any information about the murder of Jennifer Bailey, you can call state police in Harlan. never even heard about this.
