close it up. save my tax dollars.

It would be a nice place for an inexpensive small town Skiing Area.
Brookhaven is the Land of "NO" We cannot do anything dealing with nature and it's thrills. Liability issues have ruined innocent childhood fun.

Exactly so, save the birds, save the feral cats, save the owls, save this, save that...whatever happened to nature taking it's course....the land of NO is an uderstatement....Have you ever been up there on a Thursday evening during the summer? A local Fire Dept. is making very good money charging for parking, hamburgers, hotdogs and soda's while vintage cars are lined up and down the entire area....all while the cops wait in vain outside on North Ocean to pull over any and all the Motorcycles, but not the illegal motor vehicles....it makes you WANT to stay home....Brookhaven Town..the land of NO....

It's poor management all around -- just look at their site. Most venues have advanced listings of upcoming events.
Perhaps the promoter should use some of his pay for advertising. I've never heard of any children's shows being hosted there and know of several families who would be interested in attending these types of shows.
I took my 5 yr old there to see DoodleBops and Laurie Berkner, two of the biggest kids acts out there. The place was Packed. Anything that brings people to the Town of Brookhaven is a plus.

Well, if the people running the town can't get along with each other, which is a well known fact, how can anything they oversee run well for the people in the Town of Brookhaven. Can someone answer that question....with a good answer because I personally haven't seen anything run well yet....

Another question is why do we need five levels of government (if we live in a village) with their hands in our pocket telling us how to live?

Bring in more COUNTRY acts, they sell the place out with every concert. The only problem is that Brookhaven can't handle the crowd...food lines and wait for service 45 minutes long, Cody's beer prices off the chart....etc...
