I agree with this. Its too easy for kids to get alcohol. We used to underage drink, but the youth of today cant hold their liquor. They have a "thug" mentality to begin with, and before you know it, property is being destroyed and fights are happening. We used to hide it, maybe go into the woods. Kids today are azzwipes.

RE:
How else are we suppose to catch people doing, what they are not suppose to be doing. Father Tom is always watching. The cops must have been informed by someone, for the cops to do an undercover operation.
Glad these store workers/owners got caught. Trying to make a quick buck.
Unless they are illegal aliens, and they don't know the law, of alcohol and cigarette sales.

They didn't mention that the 15 year old had a full beard did they. These type of "busts" are B/S. Go out and do some real Police work. Stop turning these kids into RATS. They will feel shame and guilt for the rest of their lives.

Are you people kidding me this, you call this a set up! These clerks will sell anything to make a $$$$! Beard or no beard, its common sense that you proof anyone under 40...just like Fridays policy states...you just cant assume anyone is over age theses days! Plus every store owner knows that these stings happen...just think how many other teenagers were sold buzz and cigs prior to this!

Entrapment my ass. These middle easterners are profiteering charging extra because minors cant buy cigarettes or alcohol legally.
They should put the Patriot act to good use and check where these profits are being sent. Mullahs in the middle east no doubt.

Do you even know what entrapment is?
The police didn't ask the perp to sell the minor cigarettes. They just provided an opportunity. Thats not entrapment!

I think it's great - they need to do this more often - maybe these idiots wouldnt take a chance on selling to kids if there was a fair chance they would get caught!! As far as having a full beard - who cares?? He was still underage and should have been ID'd.

How is this entrapment? Entrapment means that the authorities made the person do something and then busted them for it. How did the cops make these people sell the booze and cigs to a minor? IMO this should be done at least once a week across every town so that maybe we can cut down on the number of DUI/DWI wrecks by teenagers and maybe keep kids from growing up just to get cancer.

Charge these morons to the full extent of the law. Shut them down and deport them. We need to start making examples of these cockroaches that are infiltrating our country, who want live the American dream and don't abide by our laws to protect our children.

The only problem is our officials don't have the b*alls to follow through.

Gee, that's just great, and I'm sure it's not the first time. What kind of a sentence does one get for this, anyone know?

Isnt it against the law for minors to TRY to buy cigs and booze? So the cops have a 15 yo BREAK the law to catch a lawbreaker. Teaching kds to be rats...moron cops!

Not sure about NY but here in Louisiana, it is a pretty steep fine and up to 5 years in jail, i believe.
