WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)-- A sheriff's deputy from Virginia's Accomack County has been disciplined, according to television station WAVY, after being caught speeding by an angry driver who chased the deputy for miles, repeatedly blowing his horn to make the deputy pull to the side of the road.

The ensuing confrontation, captured on videotape by the pursuing driver, has been posted on the popular website youtube and, by Friday night, had been seen more than 100 thousand times.

The tape, shot earlier this month shows the pursuing driver's speedometer approaching 90 miles an hour, at times, and contains a running and profane commentary from the 20-year-old man who drove his car while he shot video of the pursuit.

When the deputy finally pulls to the side of the road, the young driver confronts him about speeding and gets an initial denial from the deputy, who later threatens to arrest the man for blocking his path.

The deputy eventually drives away after an angry argument and the pursuing driver was apparently not charged for speeding himself as he chased the police car.
