His medical emergency was getting hit with the Taser. Another death sentence handed down in the street for what? Disorderly conduct? Simple battery? Wake up people and see just what is happening here. You don't think it can happen to you or one of your loved ones. This will be written off as due to a drug intoxication, excited delerium, sickle cell trait or some other BS. The big question is would he be dead if not Tasered? The militarization of the police has led to many police agencies dropping their use of force continuum and going right to the Taser or firearm to deal with "suspects". Keep in mind just who the New Centurions are out there to protect. It is not the regular working class guy/gal.

I think you are mislead. He did not die because he was tased, he died because he was high, bipolar and refused to act like a civilized human being. He lacked respect for the people he was visiting and the neighbors in that neighborhood. As usual when civilization breaks down the people call the last resort, the police, to restore normalicy. So when all else failed the officers used the tools approved in a manner accepted as legal. Bottom line: he brought on the action and lost. Too bad so sad.
