Crime wave greets new Coquille chief

COQUILLE, Ore. - Mark Dannels says he applied to be the Coquille police chief because he wanted a new challenge.

Our new Chief of Police Mark Dannels has had a baptism by fire for sure in out little town of Coquille and as far as I'm concerned he's stepped up the plate and has gained respect and from the people of Coquille.
Hang in there Chief, hopefully it will ease off a bit. Hopefully..
