Just In: Fortress just woke up from a bad nightmare and decided that the multiple it paid for RailAmerica was too high. They paid based on an inflated EBITDA muliple and forgot that the railroad industry is actually capital intensive.
They actually bought RailAmerica to abandon and scrap the entire network. It is going to call A&K in Utah and work a deal. They are going to make Pioneer RailCorp seem like the Union Pacific.
Watch out Florida the FEC is next.
