Toccoa Riverside has declined greatly in quality and service. Eat at your own risk.
Cabin Grill is worth a trip.

Goodfellas on Highway 5 serves breakfast, although there's been a decline in quality and service there. My personal opinion is that Cabin Grille is overpriced, and the food is not very good.

Downtown, on Main Street, there is an establishment that offers breakfast and lunch. I believe it is called Serendipity Cafe. Although I've never tried the breakfast, the lunch is very reasonably priced and of good quality. I've heard that there is another location across from the Swan Drive-In that has great breakfast biscuits. I don't know the name, however.

All the places downtown are great for lunch...the Victorian Tea Room is really good- but pricey. The Cabin Grille by Ingles is alright, but I don't go there that often, and have never been fully satisfied everytime I have gone there. They now offer a buffet. As far as breakfast goes, The Village is pretty good and not to expensive, and the Trailer is the small biscuit shop across fromt the Swan Drive in.

Try the Iron Skillet Cafe on 515. Also Serenity in the Mountains has a great breakfast on main street. If your hungry try The Village, they have an all-you-can-eat buffet!

I'm pretty sure you are talking about Serenity Garden, a little cafe about 10 ft wide (with a 'garden' outside it's greenhouse windows. Their Breakfast is quite good. But they begin serving at 9am.
And the place with the biscuits is the famous Trailer, now upgraded to stainless steel exterior. They have opened a second location near the awful Yellow Jacket.

The trailer is the place you are referring to....The Village also has a good breakfast buffet and biscuits

My Family has traveled to Blue Ridge several times and have tried a few restaurants. We have enjoyed the Victorian Inn but have also tried Good Fellas which came recomended by the local shops. We had a nice dinner and the prime rib was the best I've had in years. We went back for breakfast and couldn't believe the amount of food you get for the price. My family has gone back often and has always had good service and never a bad meal. Both restaurants are among our favorites.

The Toccoa River Restaurantis excellent-go early so you can see the river while you eat-carry your own wine-on Friday nights they usually have some folks singing.

Goodfella's does NOT serve instant taters, nor have they had lobster pasta on the menu. It is one of my favorite places. Best prime rib.
Nice clean restaurant with great food.

Imagine how many years people have survived without beer and wine with their meals. I haven't seen a restaurant go under yet because of no booze.

I agree, Goodfellows has good food.
Cucina Rustica on the four lane near Morganton has good food, too.
Both places allow brown bagging.

You should read the restaurant scores at some of the places before recommending them. We usually cook at home - it's more fun and you can drink if you want.

Every time we come from Michigan we go to Goodfellows, they have the best food around, the prime rib is the best I have ever had, the salads are always fresh and outstanding. I have been to other restraunts in the area, and you can't beat the quality of food, the cooking, the service and talk about restaurant scores.........better check out Goodfella's anytime I've been there at closing the staff has been scrubbing the tile. Never have I seen that in any other restaurants!!! I'd be surprised if Goodfellows was below 100%. BUT SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!
