I think they are talking about Aaron's Rents out on West Hwy 190. They are a rental place that actually sells the stuff for about 3 times what the crap is worth.
Never had any dealings with them; never will.
There used to be a similar place in Cove Terrace called RentTown or something like that. I had a friend that rented/bought some furniture from him. The quality seemed find, but by the time you're finished paying the rental fee to own it you've probably paid over 50% interest.

I think that most places like that are just a rip off. Buyer beware walking in the door. A person would be better off putting a little aside each month until they can afford to pay cash.

A big rip off. But the people who get their furniture from them can't get it at other places because they have screwed up credit.

If you have a copy of the police report then give them a copy - they should cut their loss from that.
