I have spoken to Coach Lowery personally, he said the homerun record was only 12. That was set by neither Sheamer nor Garner. The Texas High School Homerun Record is not even 30. Watch out for the All-State bid this year Retired 1SG. But enough about these personal records, its the playoffs that really matters. We are on the road to be the first 5a team to make it there. Come out and watch us play, we have great talent and the potential to do great things.

Hope he does well, but that doesn't make him the best of all time. How many bases has he stole? What is his on base %? RBI's? Home Runs? Errors? Brent had a difficult time throwing the ball from short to first but he hit well. Chris Woehl hit and ran well but missed some fly balls. Steve Sheamer was complete. Chris was close to complete. Ty is not very fast and I thought had a hard time fielding a hot hit. All are good, the best of all time is hard to pick. Chris Woehl, Brent Garner and Steve Sheamer received athletic scholarships for baseball not just academic scholarships, and don't misunderstand all scholarships are great.

First off let’s get one thing straight I’m not sure of the young man’s name But Cove have a kid playing at Temple College right now I saw him play. Hitting is truly only one aspect of high school baseball. I think the most complete player would have to be Sr. Austin Green he can hit, run, and he has a cannon for an arm. Ty Johnson is a good player but great would mean playing for a D1 program or getting drafted which I think Green is ready for, Johnson’s major issue would be his injuries his knee (2 surgeries) and an elbow problem. Look for Green’s speed and hitting abilities to get him drafted. I’ve been scouting him for the past two years.

Sorry, Sleeper. Hammerin' Hank is still the home run king. He wasn't juiced.

The team is off to great district 13-5A start at 4-0. Coach Wilk and Wilburn are doing a great job with the players. I have seen them a couple times. Keep eliminating errors and they will be salty.

By the way, the past participle of the verb "to lead" is led.
