The one from Salisbury actually lives about 1 mile from the high school, not right across the street, and unfortunately he is my neighbor. Does anyone know, since he is charged with 11 counts of sexual abuse of children, does that mean he had pornographic images of them on his computer or does it mean he had images of him engaged in sexual acts with children?

Most likely when you use the words pornography and children in the same sentence, most likely it involves secual acts including children.

Regardless, The Truth, there really was no crime since the so-called "minors" never existed. It's called entrapment and it's illegal. If it were one of my kids, then of course like any parent, I would be concerned. But there was no minor involved!! So what's the point?? So now we're going to prosecute people for what they might've done and not for what they actually did?? This isn't Russia, China, or Nazi Germany although thanks to people like you America is sure on it's way to becoming another human rights abuser!!

They were solciting sex from minors, ILLIGAL!!! There is NO entrapment issue.
Also, shwoing pornographic material (written or video or photos)to minors, is ILLIGAL, yes a crime, look it up. I guess you people stuck on the entrapment issue also think that speed traps and ALL undercover cop activity is illigal, with your rationale. Good Lord!

Hey stupid! entrapment or not, 40,30,50,25,45,65 year old men (Im giving you different ages because I can tell that you are slow) trying to send dirty pictures to 12 year old girl NO GOOD STUPID!!! maybe in your family its ok or maybe the old guy next door gave you some love when you were little, but to us normal people that have kids, once again stupid, NO GOOD!! Our legal system it's garbage, Im sure they will get out soon, but now at least we seen their faces. Stop playing lawyer JasonBourne stick to what you do best, keep watching your secret agent movies, Also thank you to the PD that made these arrests, Let's keep bringing these garbage to the light.

any way you look at it, they knew it was wrong, and said so. when faced with a decision so obviously wrong, and deciding to push that send button is enough to send em to jail. three kids myself, and now i know their safer. wish i could personally thank the people who caught them.
So disappointed

"dirtyolderman" lives right by us. My husband used to work for him. Wonder what his wife and children think of him now? How can someone think this is ok??????

Well, at least "dirtyolderman" has a house to return home to when he gets out. The home of Michael David Gates, 40, at 4594 Homestead Drive, Coplay, Lehigh County burned late Sunday night. Since Gates was in prison at the time of the fire, I suspect the authorities have another crime to investigate. I sure hope the Attorney General has a good case, because I'm sure the release of his address had something to do with that fire. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? It certainly sounds like these guys did commit these acts, but they should be given the opportunity to defend the accusations before their names are smeared. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze, especially the firefighters.

These guys sending picts and meeting these people should get whats coming...I agree. The problem is on this witch hunt that is occuring, some people are getting nailed for things that should not be illegal. ie...yahoo requires everyone be 18...and there is so many people on that thing playing games and doing things, it's ridicules. The police are using these sites...Adult sites to preform stings...and busting people for JUST CHAT.
No meetings or Nude picture swapping. Just Chat!
Thats wrong!!
