As an 18 year old college student from Whitehall, I find these blogs hilarious. Most of you should actually go back to school yourselves because based off of some of your comments.
Youíre constantly ridiculing the school board, yet letís face it. They got elected. You either didnít run, or lost. When elections come around, get off the couch and run for a position. Youíll see that not everything is as straightforward as you all see it.
The school board made the correct decision. Theyíre in charge of running the school district, not this township. The school district makes money through property taxes. So for what reason would any school board member want to give some crappy property a tax break? If you ran a company, would you willing take a hit on your profits just to beautify some old dump (and yes,ďdumpĒ is the correct term for everything south of Rt 22. Quite frankly, Iíve afraid to even drive down that way)? Most companies donít, and if they do, itís simply a publicity stunt.
If this issue is such a problem, then Mr. Hozza (the individual in charge of the township who is supposed to deal with these matters) should find a way to attract interest in the property. No school board in their right mind would approve such a measure.
Maybe you all should see both sides of the issue. Do we really want to put the school district at a fiscal disadvantage? If you all graduated from the WCSD, based off of your logic, I think we need to find a way to pump more money into the district so future generations donít turn out like you.

Hey Genius! I really do not think it matters who lives in the district or outside the district. They all are in this for the same goals, Education for our stucents, and prudency for taxpayers. Other than school taxes, which is required in every school distict in every state in this country, what are you paying to educate your child? If you own your own business, How would you like to lose $80,000 a year? And by the way, the federal government and your state government mandated upgrading ALL school districts to meet present and future school populations. My guess is that the writer is probably driving a LEXUS, and doesn't give two *^$#@ about us!

I think Hozza is doing a fantastic job. He works tirelessly and is very professional. We need someone as pro-active as Hozza in that position. I like many are Very satisfied with Hozza and will support him in his re-election bid.

Hozza is a dictator, you will see the truth about him and his antics when it is time for him to run for re-election.

Not sure what you mean. Sounds like SJ wants to go back to the day where status quo was maybe a little too good and bending the rules for a buddy was common. Glad to hear he is doing his job. Hozza has been a breath of fresh air and maybe a little Sunshine to boot. I too support Hozza.
