Just another piece of apparatus to sink more money into.

Well, once again, if you knew what you were talking about you would know that it's the fire departments job to apply for the grants. Also, since hurricane katrina, the government has been very stingy with their handouts to fire departments. The govenment wants people too consolidate their fire departments. But, once again, you spoke without knowing. I feel bad for you.
You spelled "too" wrong. It should be 'to.'

Actually, YOU are incorrect. What they have is a mutual aid agreement. An agreement made between coplay and whitehall and northampton, etc. Alot of boroughs and municipalities have it. So, once again, YOU are incorrect.
Actually he is right... there is no legal obligation for a volunteer fire department to do anything, they could sit and watch a fire burn if they wanted. AND it has happened before. Fire departments HAVE denied service to their customers who did not provide financial support, and recently at that. And you are just an ignorant pain who likes ripping other people apart because it makes you feel big and bad. Have fun tough guy.
