No surprise here. He was still on the road because the prosecutors and judges in this state refuse to punish drunk drivers to the full extent of the law. As long as they keep getting a slap on the wrist and end up only paying fines instead of going to prison they will continue to be a danger to all of us.

A fine example of what the dangerous, addictive drug, alcohol can do to a person.

One of these days a leader will come along with the political instinct to acknowledge the naked truths that cannabis (the non-addictive,herbal plant) is ubiquitous, and that it is ineradicable. Recognizing that prohibition is a luxury we can no longer afford, and that legalization isnít just for stoners, he or she will lead the exploration, design and enactment of new policies aimed not only at better protecting the public health and safety, raising copious amounts of new revenue, creating new industries and thousands of new jobs in agricultural hemp, but most importantly fostering a sense of responsibility in people who choose to use cannabis. When this finally happens,we will see use/abuse of alcohol fall very significantly.

Ahh, is the kind Reverend engaged in a little "midnight toking"? Just kidding rev, but I have to agree with what you say. Never having had the pleasure myself I know that there is no way in hell (oops, sorry) that we are going to eradicate the weed itself, the user, those who grow it or those who sell it. We're fighting a losing battle that is costing the taxpayers billions of dollars not only in the cost of actually fighting this battle, but in revenue lost by not legalizing and taxing cannibus. The more they fight the bigger the crop and the more users.

Don't you find it strange that the very people who fight legalization are the same ones who smoke tobacco, the ony product that is manufactured to kill those who use it, and drink alcohol, a substance that causes more broken homes, more illnesses, more time off work, and more highway fatalities than any other substance? What are we thinking? And by the way, not only are tobacco and alcohol legal, they're sanctioned by the Food and Drug Administration. Crazy!!

I don't think calling yourself "reverend" is going to get you any more respect around here. Look at Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Those guys call themselves reverend and they're both wingnuts.

I guess the only way he'll get the "Denver Boot" on his car is if he gets a few unpaid parking tickets.

How about following the judge with a big sign:

"This judge (name) continually lets off repeat drunk driving offenders with just a small fine"
