Branchville mayor says: 'I'm not hiding anything'

BRANCHVILLE A comment from a resident directed at Councilwoman Georgianna Harmon has led Mayor Tim Cooner to again address personality issues within Branchville Town Council.

Come now Mr. Mayor, you know better than anyone, how much you are hiding.
But, that is not what bothers those in Branchville, who are interested in good and moral government.
It is that which is not hidden, and open for the whole world to see, that is the problem.
For instance, the well publicized fact that you were denied the opportunity to vote in Branchville Town elections, because of living outside of Town Limits.
And, also, by not using grants to upgrade the Branchville Town Hall, prior to the March 15 tornado, and the exposed by the storm, being required to repay that money.

Well, Mr. Branchville Boy, I guess you should know the truth before you speak a lie. the Mayor was not denied not to vote in the election, but was given the option whether to or not, and chose Not to. Wanting to prove first that he was in the limits ( WHICH WAS PROVEN) which is all very childish. Just people that need to get a life and do something with thier lives other than look for petty things that don't amount to anything. And the part about the grant is completely wrong, please go back and research that. Oh did you research that the council woman costs the Town over $3000 dollars for surveying the Mayor's property.(WHICH AGAIN IN THE END SHE WAS WRONG))) Can we say WASTED money. Now do you think this woman is trying to help the TOWN.....
