If Cole died at the scene, why is her condition still under investigation by the Highway Patrol?

The journalists have a tendency to write this way quite often. I could be wrong, but I think maybe the writer is referring to toxicology reports, which would show if Ms. Cole was under the influence of anything, or maybe had a diabetic issue. I can't imagine what else it would mean, considering he already said she had expired at the scene.

I just wonder if the teen was TEXTING or on her CELL PHONE while driving. Too bad someone had to die due to a 17 year old behind the wheel.

I wonder??? I really hate it when people Wonder when they don't KNOW what happened? I know PLENTY of young drivers that are just as good of drivers as anyone else! Accidents can happen to ANYONE.. Not just a 17 yr. old! By the way it wasn't a GIRL!! Just so you know! God Bless Vickie Goff and her family! It is terrible that tragedies like these have to happen!

Well I'll give it up got chouteau FD they did an amazing job with this horrible accident. They were able to get her packaged and in the air before she left this world. This lady never came too but she was alive all the way to the hospital. The driver was going way too fast. I mean 200 ft. Skidmarks? Really? This person will have to live with this the rest of their life I hope they do something good with their life. My best to the families that was affected by this accident
