More than 30 Christmas trees have been decorated inside the Coopersville Farm Museum, from 1' tall to 10' tall, the trees sparkle everywhere you look. Individuals like Mary Dyke, Vicki Potgeter, Sue Hammond, Carol Courtade, Christine Scott, and Geneann Schaefer come in and decorate trees just because they enjoy doing it, schools like Trinity Lutheran and St. Michael's get the kids involved in making the ornaments to represent their school to the community, churches, groups, and businesses select themes that send a message or tell about their business, but they all have a unique look to them. Coopersville Farm Museum staff and volunteers prepare for the holiday season with additional trees and lights throughout the museum just in time for the Christmas Open House before the Santa Parade (sponsored by the Coopersville Area Chamber of Commerce) on Friday, December 4, from 5pm - 7pm. Gingerbread Houses start coming in on December 1 and will be displayed "while they last." Regular hours for the winter are Tues., Thurs., Sat. from 10am - 2pm.
