i was involved in one of these accidents yesturday, and it was all caused by the COP that sat too far away from the accident to slow traffic! He was on the other side of the hill where the accident was at which caused a bunch more accidents! So thanks to public safety ..... And no i was not driving fast, and i was not on a cell phone, just plan ass stupid COP

So a cop made you get into an accident? I highly doubt that. Most likely you were either going too fast or driving to close behind the car in front of you. Or someone else hit you which is that person's fault, not a cop.

A police car with flashing light means beware, caution and slow down.

How can a COP be at fault from being too far away from "the accident" ?

Yet another example of someone not willing to take resposibility for their own actions...and stupidity...

The law says to slow down or move over, buddy. If that cop's lights are on, you better slow down or move over anyway, even if he may be "too far".

I give you the idiot of the month award... to be shared with that woman who complained about getting a speeding ticket because she was driving too fast for conditions.

You don't speak for me. I am not perfect but I am not stupid either. If you live in Michigan-you know what I mean. The COP is at fault-NOT.

Also, maybe you might want to think that the cop thought about that, and parked his car where he did for a reason. You kinda answered your own little gripe, buddy.

No I am not a whinner, Actually things do happen to me and some things have been my fault,Beccause I am a human being. What I said and what I mean, is you guys all talk like you are perfect, But guess what someday something will happen to you or your family and I hope that you remember that it is your fault no matter what.

I don't think that anyone intentionally plans to get into an accident or cause someone else to. That is why they are called "accidents". The bottom line is that every single person behind the wheel of a vehicle in weather conditions like this needs to be 100 times more cautious and aware of everything around them. All it takes is some common sense to be more cautious.

Actually no one seems to be saying they are perfect. What they ARE saying is one should be responsible and take the blame when they're due. Not blame others for their actions, because that's honestly, juvenile. Of course accidents happen, that's why they're called accidents. But come on, man up and take responsibility for your own actions. Don't be a whine arse and blame the bad ole copper that made you do a bad, bad thing.

Bu Beatrice, this is America, where no-one takes responsibilty for their own actions: it's to convenient to blame someone else, then sue them for it. :)
