In an effort to encourage people of Michigan to look around them and see all that is good, the Coopersville Farm Museum director selected the topic of "Michigan's Bounty" as the subject matter in the 8th Annual Photo and Art Contest. Nearly 200 entries were received and all are on exhibit through January 9, 2010. Prizes were provided by local merchants: Coopersville & Marne Railway, Coopersville Arts Council, Mark Douglas Real Estate, Family Fare, Coopersville Farm Museum, Coopersville Variety Store, Elves Antiques, Fashion Cents & More, Burger King, Williams Family Ministries, Arby's, Peppinos, The Bronco Connection, Tasker Drugs, Taco Bell, InterUrban Depot Cafe, McDonald's, and Northern Physical Therapy Services. Over $2,000 worth of prizes were awarded during the premiere at the Coopersville Farm Museum.

This is such a coll event, I like the way small towns can exemplify their values this way, and show they keep a positive attitude and outlook about this financial crunch.
Kudos to L A Kreager for sharing this online, Thank you.
I plan to attend at least to see the outcome and I intend to follow this online.
