Well, this is decent news. It's not much but a step in the right direction, isn't it?

What is a cheese/powered milk plant?
Maybe they should contact GM and tell them they have a new fuel.

By the way WOOD, DeJong is a proper noun and begins with an upper case D.

Yes it is a step in the right direction...people don't have to drive new cars (delphi-GM) but they have to eat...more stability there....also they are jobs in general...which is a great thing.

Actually, that's an original Dutch spelling. Amazing that it's still intact.

Thank you for correcting me.

I still think it is supposed to be cheese/powdered though.
Not cheese/powered.

Thank you for clarifying that, I was going to do it myself, these people are just soooooooo darn negative on here, nothing is ever good enough or done right for them, get a real life people, Wood spelled it right & even if they didn't BIG DEAL! People do make typo's regardless of their position.

Wonder how long before the UAW attempts to organize the plant and it is moved to a right-to-work state?

This sounds nice for Coopersville, but what about Andy Cummings' farm, di Bufala, in Fremont -- the farmer that the Press reported about a few weeks ago whose entire dairy production was sold? Seems silly to spend so much money refurbishing an auto parts factory into a dairy farm when there's one just sitting there ready to be up-and-running with probably very little modification.

Oh get a life yourself.
Talk about being critical, that's exactly what you are doing.
The point is that WOOD always has to get the story out first and they don't proofread it. That's what makes it funny. Of course you probably can't see any humor in anything.
Anyway, I would still like to know more about that cheese/power.

I hope they're planning on making some of that really stinky Limburger cheese at the old Delphi plant and then pumping that foul odor up into the air through smokestacks so it can mingle with the stench of the WasteWater Dump and the pig farm across the highway.

Then Coopersville will become the Trifecta Stink Capitol of the world!!!

Here's a joke: How can you tell if a girl in Coopersville has bad breath?

Answer: You can't.

They arent going to milk cows at this location. They would build a plant to make cheese and powdered milk. The old delphi plant itself would probably get converted to a cold storage for cheese. Totally different from what was going on up to Fremont at the Buffalo farm.
