In the late fall of 2009, a feral dog was rescued in Mississippi and named Hope. She had mange and other problems, and remained at an animal hospital near Olive Branch Mississippi for 5 months before she was then transported in the early spring of 2010, through a pet relocation network to her new home and owner in NYC.

Three weeks after she arrived in New York she slipped her harness/collar and ran away from her new owner. She was then picked up by a 2nd rescue team, in NYC where she was micro-chipped and named Melissa and adopted out for the 2nd time to a family in Oneonta NY.

Two weeks later she again slipped her harness/collar and has not been seen since.
Hope/Melissa was last seen in the Oneonta NY area, in the early part of summer 2010. If you have any information regarding Hope/Melissa please email to the following address: helpfindhope@gmail.com
