A little girl there with asthma had NO help she kept passing out and the parents had to take her to Grand View. Another woman had a leg injury, again no response. Then a "nurse" came out to the ER reciting scripture on how wrong it was to come there unless you are seriously ill.! It took over 7 hrs. for my friend to be treated for a heart condition. The Dr. looked at her and said she didn't look sick and told us to go home or call 911. Go ONLY to Grand View. She was treated immediately there and now has to have a stent.

I've had to go to St. Luke's twice for emergency care. I'm probably alive today because of them. I couldn't have asked for better care and attention. You shouldn't make up lies like that. You could get into trouble.

I went two weeks ago for a bad infection in my leg. I was seen by an RN in less that ten minutes. I was treated quickly and professionally. In and out in less than two hours.
My son who was 18 months old had an allergic reaction; it was like something out of a TV show. Doctors and nurses swarmed him. Excellent care.

Why would anyone take their kid to a hospital with no Pediatric department? Grand view has 24hr CHOP docs,it's a no brainer.

7 hours for a heart condition? BS! These cases are seen first! They've always taken me in within 5 minutes.

You are so full of it.

If you were stating this 30 years about the old Quakertown Community Hospital, that would be believable. Back then, it was horrible.

That is NOT the case with St. Luke's. They are top notch and I have had procedures at both Quakertown and Bethlehem and my life was saved by these doctors that you are ragging about.

I would not be here today if it wasn't for the SLHN.

If “a little girl .... kept passing out”, she’s going to be seen by almost every emergency room in the country. No doctor would simply look at someone and say “she didn't look sick” without odering test. Hospitals are very aware of their liability if something were to happen. You’re one of the biggest liars I’ve seen on Topix yet.

This past summer,my wife was seriously ill,so went went to St Lukes emergency room in Quakertown. She couldnt even walk. She sat in a wheelchair for over three hours waiting for a doctor.I asked the woman at the front desk if my wife could lay down on a bed.She said sorry ,no.Told the woman she felt better if she laid down, the woman says "have her lay on the floor if she wants". Meanwhile some old guy was sitting waiting with blood all over his face, and some on the floor.Turns out my wife had A Urinary trac infection.Only took three hours to be seen.Next time we will go to Grandview for sure.I wouldnt send my worst enemy to that place.

You’re so full of crap it’s pathetic. Nobody goes to the emergency room for a urinary trac infection, and if you did, you deserve to be the last one waited on. You probably gave her a STD you got somewhere else.

Hey Think and Shloppy ,we didnt know she had the UTI until the tests came back hours later. Her condition was more severe because of her MS.Guess im lying about her MS too.You really think I care if you dont believe me? Wait, you probably dont even know what MS is.No, its not a state in the south.Be thankfull you dont have MS and have to deal with it like we do.But what can you expect from people like you two,who dont know the facts and think everyone lies.

I went my ambulance to St Luke's in December with stroke symptoms - I was wheeled into a room and not seen by anyone for 45 minutes. The nursing supervisor came in and said "How are you doing" I said I have no idea - NO ONE HAS BEEN IN TO SEE ME. Evidently I "fell through the cracks" and there was a mixup. Luckily it was a minor stroke. Will never go there again for an emergency.
