I am moving to Springfield Township (Coopersburg). The area is serviced by Service Electric and after inquiring about availability, they do not offer internet access at my address. There is no FIOS either or DSL.
For those of you who live in rural areas around here, how do you get internet access if at all? Thanks PS I would have though that all of Springfield Township would have been upgraded by now. |

There are satellite internet providers for those who are out of range, such as WildBlue and HughesNet. I don't have experience with them, but they are out there. I'd like to get FiOS, as I'm tired of Service Electric, but I don't think it's available here in the borough - I'll have to check again. Good luck!

Check here www.enter.net Just because it's not available today doesn't mean it won't be there for you next week or month. Stay on it. |

You could also check into things like Sprints Mifi (http://now.sprint.com/nownetwork/mifiProductP... ) or one of the competing wireless carrier's similar offerings. You just turn them on and they connect to a 3G (or 4G) wireless data connection. You won't get the best speeds, but it's better than nothing.
Good luck! |
