Yeah, they went there right after the 7/11 ran out of free coffee.

What is going in old WaWa next to Jiffy Lube? Lots of work being done. Really do miss that WaWa hate fighting all the gas traffic at other locaions just to get a coffee or sandwich. Oh well guess you call it progress. But the design of the Tollgate WaWa traffic pattern is a joke.

I was wondering also. There were alot of sirens. It is a bad intersection. Hope no one was injured.

It wasn't at the intersection, I went through it. All the activity was at Wawa....

It was a small amount of gasoline that was spilled at a pump. It brought out all the troops with sirens blaring. Turned out that the Wawa employees had it cleaned up before the first responders got there.

I heard it's going to be a doctor's office.

Thank you for thanking me. I heard it as it was unfolding on the scanner. I also thought that a lot of equipment was going up there. They knew as soon as they were dispatched that it was a "Small amount of fuel." Not an accident and no one was injured.

No it's not going to be a doctors office. Dr. Sedicum is opening a burrito restaurant in that location. (Yes, I promise this is true. A friend works at his office and has shared the plan. Strange, I know.)

Wonderful another store for food in Quakertown. Seriously how much damn food does one area need?!!?! it's insane! Is that all you Quakertown people do is eat?

And Wawa I hardly go in that place. Especially the one on tollgate rd. The place is always mobbed and cars coming from every direction out of nowhere. When backing out of a spot you need to be FAST or else someone is right up your ass in a blink of an eye.

Nothing in Wawa is good enough to make me want to deal with that crowd.

Phillybou strikes again with more nonsense. Isn't it time to go to one of your jobs or mow your award winning lawn?

It may sound silly, but they have to send out responders anytime they get a call like that.

There are even laws on how the cleanup should be done. You can't just clean it up and throw the rags or oil-dry in the dumpster.

My point is, do they have to send three fire trucks, police, and an ambulance to a call that was reported as a minor spill. Every fire truck that responded had their sirens wide open. I could hear that on the scanner. Wawa is trained and equipped to handle minor gasoline spills. They see them every day. They use the same dry spill powder that the FD uses. They have a special haz-mat bin where it's placed and disposed of properly. I heard another call on East Broad last night where the LT. was going to allow the heavy rain to just wash the gas away. I'm only reporting what I hear on the radio.
